i think without cobb that fulton does not have the weapons to beat powell. but then again i could be wrong. it should be a close one but with watts in the powell backfield they have my vote. he may be the best in the whole KFL but im sure fulton is always loaded so they prob got alot of weapons that i dont know about.

i know for a fact that is not hargis. it is your best player like ive said all along have you all ever thought that more then one person can use a screen name. he just told u all that he was going to back it up so obviously he does play

First of all watts is the only player on powells team. But i hate trash talking lets just leave it to what happens on the field.

in all reality you powell people are getting on here and talking junk to your best player. the way i see it if he can back it up let him talk all he wants. i know that when halls beats powell that watts is still going to get his numbers but the only sad think is that the rest of the team expect for smith is not even in the same league as him. so i prob. agree that powell losses 4 games but believe the red devils will be one of them.

you all are just flat out haters on helton. not to mention the kid is a winner how many other high school qb have beat maryville not many. so that takes care of the comment he cant win the big games so we will see this year when he gets the job done against both teams. dont get me wrong i hope they both throw for 300 yards

i agree that cody is a special player but im just saying he is not better then zach. both are great qb's lets just leave it at that but central has more weapons argue it or not

im sure im not even playing but good call pal. and i dont think powell will beat halls by 21. powell may win but it will be close either way. why dont powell if they think they are so much better then halls then why not step up and blow us out and then if you think you all can play with the big boys then finally beat maryville or central. but you all cant because you all would rather get on here and talk then get on the field and walk it. you all are a one man team. the whole offense if built around one player. i hope this does not happen but what if cody gets hurt of something like that then what is powell going to do. and you must not be to good cause i dont even know who you are.

gibbs will do better this year then they have in the past but dont look for a big improvement in your win and loss record. They will probably surprise a team or 2 but they will also get beaten by a team or 2 they shouldnt have. Dont count on a win over halls because it wont happen maybe next year.

i never said that zach is better then cody i just was stating that i dont think cody is better then zach. you also half to remeber that zach has to share the ball more because of the more talent around him. i mean you have to get dada some carrires so zach is not getting to have the ball as much as cody. but dont get me wrong when cody is on the move he is as good as anyone. and about the recruiting thing that comes down to one thing size. cody is about 6'1 and zach is about 5'10. also vandy has shown interest in zach so there are some big time schools looking at him. but you are right and in my opinion they are the best two in East Tn.

Halls-17 they kicked a field goal before they scored there 2 TDS D-B-0 offensively they couldnt move the football on Halls defense The whole scrimmage halls dominated offensively and defensively. Halls really only showed 1 offensive scheme and they made it work effectively. The D-B fans are trying to blame it on their turnovers but every turnover was forced. Halls defensive line stepped up in the scrimmage they pressured the qb about every play and they also had alot of sacks. They stripped the ball from recievers and runningbacks. The halls secondary played really well with 2 interceptions. The reason D-B used 2 qbs is because halls hurt the starting qb then he went to reciever. D-B recovered a halls fumble inside the 10 yard line and still couldnt score. What more does halls have to do to get a little respect? As far as the spring scrimmage went both teams played ok but both played without alot of there skilled positions players.

powell is overrated like they are every year. we see this crap every year on here that this is the year well i dont think that year will ever come.

watts is not better then helton and helton had a better year last year so i dont know where you get that. and for the backfield part central has 3 quality people back there and maryville has 1 and the same for powell. come on now im not even a central fan and even i know they will win this region.

1.Central I believe it is time that central finally beats maryville. i believe they go 15-0 and win it all because they got the best back field in the state in Helton, Dyer, and Gaston. 2.Maryville Rebuilding year for the rebs but still good enough for 2 place. i say they go 8-2 in the reg season with losses coming to central and alcoa 3.Powell basically you say a 2 man show with this team in watts and smith. this one was hard to call because i think powell may get upset more then once. dont be suprised if they lose to the red devils. 4.Halls coming in to the season as a legit underrated team. i think they can beat some people if they can get some what of a offense. i believe they have the best defensive lineman in east tn in Justin Cox. and a solid group of players to back him up in the defensive backfield. im going to add my preseason picks for MVP, Offensive Player of the year, and Defensive player of the year. please god if i can give the new oak ridge coach any advice is that he need to get the man that wears number 1 the rock at least 25 times a night. this boy is the best running back in the state. if they will give him the ball he will take them to the boro. i know oak ridges defense will be good as usual so if he gives him the ball ill see you all in the boro. and im not even a oak ridge fan just a gulmire fan.

i was not "trashing" db simply stating that you should not put in papers "yea we have always hit jeff lockwood since we were kids and we will rock him tonight" and things like that quote a db player so dont tell me anything about class. and what about kicking a kids foot a first base at the end of the game and talking trash to a base runner because he ran in to you. so say what you want but i have def. would not consider that to classy.

i want to say that all i have read this year is how bad db wanted some of halls. so all i got to say is becareful what you wish for cause you might just get it. i remember a post on here that said "halls should wish oak ridge would have put them out of there misery because if they come to kingsport they will get run ruled in 5. not to mention i believe someone said that db had more heart then halls what a joke that was. good luck to farr. tomorrow nothing would be better then two knoxville teams back in memphis.

i guess predictions on here mean nothing saying that we were basically underdogs on here. i dont know what it is but no one seems to give us any respect but like i have said before we dont need it and dont want it we strive in the underdog role. anyways great game by both teams. holland really impressed me tonight. i tried to tell people on our team that he threw gas and was clocked at 88 tonight and that was his top speed. i would also like to say that the d train hit 92 tonight. what a game that kid pitched maybe not his best game but the kid is nothing but heart. south doyle will have a great team next year and had a pretty dang good team this year. im just glad that we moved on and i hate it for the south doyle seniors they have had a great career. i would also like to say that lil zurcher will be a stud next year. and the last thing i would like to say is what a baseball atmosphere at the field tonight. ive never seen anything like that for a high school baseball game. i hope that it is that packed or more packed wed. night.

how do people say that speed on the mound has not slowed them down. they got 1 hit off of tony delmonico. and only 2 runs of the caddy, so i believe it does. and why does everyone say that the d train is going to pitch coach polston has said numerous times that he is not sure who is going to pitch so dont be suprised to see the big cat

guys lets keep the trash talk down. im a player at halls and the owls have a great team also. it was a good game but say what you want everyone knows that at a high school field them balls are gone. it could have been closer but it also could have been a blow out. jeff lockwood is anyones ace and is one of the most gutsy players i have ever played with. but d train is also a ace on anyones team so i guess you could say we have 2 aces. i dont understand how u all did not beat soddy daisy at least once with the team u all have. i think both teams will be in memphis and about the farragut game we therw our number three and the ump squeezed him and against farragut you have to be able to hit corners or anyone is going to be in trouble. and can anyone tell me the owls other loses because i heard farragut beat them.
