The game wasnt over in 5, We didnt play a very good game but came out on top so i guess that is all that matters, we left the alot of people on base and late in the game tried to pull a squeez play and the pitcher dove and caught it and then threw the guy out at third that was a very good play. We hit the ball but right at them i think we ended up with 6 hits. Clinton has improved since the first time we played them but they still got awhile to go to be on top, so do we tho good game tonight with the final score 3-2 Powell wins again!

Oak Ridge beat us 7-6, we pretty much beat ourselves tho we had about 8 or 9 errors we also had the bases loaded 2 times and only got 2 runs both times, and had to lead 6-5 going into the bottom of the 6th and we walked 3 batters in a roll to load the bases and they got the 2 runs they needed to get the 7-6 lead. Oak Ridge didnt make as many errors and came out with the win. Best of luck to you guys the rest of the season and we will see you the next time we play ya.

wow.All I gotta say is Halls wont be the same team they were when powell beat them. Yeah they beat us, we admit it, but it wasnt our day to win. powell didnt beat us we beat ourselves. If I recall they had 8 hits right? none of them were hit hard. good luck when halls crosses they train tracks............. Powell had 11 or 12 hits, and had 3 or 4 errors just as many as Halls, Powell just had people on base when Halls made the errors.

Yeah the scrimmage does start at 5 Friday night at Powell.

We dont scrimmage again until March 10th against Maryville.

The reason we only pitched each pitcher only one inning is to see what they can do in a game like situation, our pitchers have been throwing since early October getting better every day. Pitchin is the best thing we have this year, and if the bats do come alive we will have a pretty good team.

Powell played almost all of there starters through the 5th inning, and changed pitchers every inning, Anderson County played there starters about the same but changed pitchers about every 3 innings when the starters went out i think the score was 4-1 maybe 5-1 cant remember.

Im not telling you to go change your name but if you want to say stuff like that then go ahead, im just telling you dont get on here and dog Lee for putting up the numbers you thought he would, its not his fault he has 2 or 3 people on him a game and he still did pretty good in the Mccallie game if im thinking of the same Smith. But i know who you are and i know you come to every powell game so lets try to stay behind our players and not put them down. But ill be #1 on the field friday night, and i hope to pull off a big win. Maryville is gonna be a very good team like always but if the team comes out with our games faces on then Maryville better watch out because we are wanting this one bad.
