  1. Is the high school softball tourney still on that is supposed to be held at Flye Park in Franklin on April 23-24? We heard it did not make.
  2. To Krogers: Jana Cross is one of the most humblest players on the court and to call her the great Jana in that kind of tone is doing her wrong. She works hard at her position and as a sophomore she is still learning. By the way last count last night: Team fouls Loretto had 39 team fouls called on them and Giles had 12 called on them. 26 points of Giles's 49 came from the free throw. The numbers may be off some but you get my drift. The season is still young and this group of girls can make the road to the state whether it is long and bumpy or not. Keep your chin up Lady Mustangs and make last night a learning experience.
  3. Great game girls! Laura Birdyshaw is one of the toughest defensive players around. She held Kristen Spann to 14 pts, we all know what Kristen is capable of. Rachel done a great job on Katie Woods also. The Lady Mustangs looked great and their future is very promising if they stay on the track they are on. Jana Cross was great, as was Meredith Green, Paige Hannah, and the rest of the talented team. Good Luck on Friday, December 12th @ Page.
  4. Great Job!! Jana Cross and Leah Stone combined for 43 points to lead the mustangs for a win. Rachel Stone, Paige Hannah, Laura Birdyshaw, Meredith Green, and Jessica Green added some timely points also. Jana Cross probably had as many rebounds as she did points, she is awesome on the boards, she boxes out great! Keep the team work rolling girls!
  5. I noticed at the Shelbyville Play Day that the team from Loretto is loaded with talent. There is just a couple who need to develop team ball concept. Someone mentioned they just had a couple of seniors, so they should be solid for a few years if they get it together.
