I am one of the guys who knows a change is needed, but now, Tommy's health is of the utmost importance. The coaching issues can be taken care of in due time. Hopefully in time to get next years team on a regular weight program with legal supervision, like in the Rider days. As I read in another posts, which sums it up pretty well, it is time for each coach and player to be held accountable, like in the Rider days. But, let's get behind Tommy for now.

Best I saw this year was QB Preston Smith of Elizabethton. Throws well and runs even better. Also served as their punter and defensive back. Saw him run a punt back also. Another thread list him as having over 1000yds passing and over 500 rushing in 8 games. Saw him play DB and he threw all over the field in a losing cause.

Ryan Witten of Elizabethton. A true motivator and only 26-27 yrs. old.

Maybe you will play freshman ball next year 22?

The problem is over the administration's head already. The school board is addressing the problem. Even they realize what needs to be done. Did your Dad write your last post for you? It was more, well, it was more adult sounding. We do care about Cyclone sports and that is why we are complaining. Not a knock on you guys, but new leadership is needed. Might as well admit it.

Anybody heard anything about Tommy. He was to have left Sunday for J-Hopkins for surgery---from what I have been told. ??

Sorry, this isn't "build it and they will come". Elizabethton wants a winner. Not just win the conference on a conference "down year". The People say they want to go further and the People will follow a team and coaches that will get them there. It is a hard subject to address when we all really like the current head coach as a person.

A team's play draws fans. A team is led by their coaching staff. A team is motivated by their coaching staff. Anything make sense here?

The Cyclones do need a change and everyone knows it. I also know the coaching situation has nothing to do with everyone wishing Tommy well, he is a great guy.

Come on Cyclone22. Just because there are a bunch of us idiots on here posting garbage doesn't mean that we are causing a break down in Elizabethton football. If you are a player, maybe you shouldn't read on here if it affects your playing?
