I think you people forget that a lot of your great players in any sports were not always super stars in high school...Does Michael Jordan ring a bell..(i understand he isnt jordan but who knew were he would end up) .Cut from his high school team....He can go where ever he wants to go....Walk on or start out as a d-2 running back....In a college program the work programs they have will make McCord stronger faster and bigger....He will not GO TO MARYVILLE COLLEGE....He has gotten letters from tech, mtsu,cn, visited utc, western kentucky and cn.....He has proved everyone he can run and will continue to do it in college.....I WILL BET ANY OF YOU...And MARYVILLEREBEL you are a hater on someone you were supposed to side with....Your probably someone who wishes you had a kid as good as chris or could run like that yourself......His big brother knows this!

You people seem to not get the hint what so ever.....When these two teams played early in the season running back chris mccord was only about 60 % healthy from a hamstring injury. The team also played the worst it possibly could have played with 6 turnovers. Now in any game you have ever seen who wins with 6 turnovers. If morristown was any good they would have beat the living crap out of someone that had 6 turnovers. As for this friday maryville will breeze through this one. We have played two of the toughest teams in the past two weeks that maryville has faced in a LONG time. Morristown plays weak competition. We saw that when they played half way decent competition they lost..... CLEVELAND, MARYVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY... The rest of the teams on there schedule ive never heard of....DAVID CROCKETT, VOLUNTEER, SULLIVAN SOUTH....Give me a break....LOOK OUT MORRISTOWN WERE COMING TO END YOUR SEASON TOO!

Wow, I have seen some ridiculous posts this time around. Whoever said maryville would be shut out should have there name removed forever for being so dumb. Not even de la salle could shut maryville out. As for central cassen should go ahead and start packing his things for vandy.I'm going to be sad to see him go....LOL...Maryville will move on the beat mo town and beat melrose in the state for what you guys will know us for our 4th state champ in a ROW.

CHRIS MCCORD- great back...could somone refresh my memory....How many rings does this kid have....Probably more than any of those players combined...Most be pretty good to win so much!

why dont you people realize it....maryville won't be beat and you should go ahead and give them there 4th ring and let 2nd and 3rd place play for their pride...

I think central is over rated. Along with maryville they have played in one of the weakest regions this year....They faced two tough opponents in mcallie and maryville and got beat. Mcallie held jackson to something like 59 yards and got pounded on. If maryville didnt fumble the point and turn the ball over 3 times it would have been a beat down there too...So put your 71 points up on clinton and thank your good but when it comes to playing maryville again.....I leave it at that! All maryville has to do is hold jackson to a resonsible night and they will win big. Their quaterback isnt good enough to win big games for them.
