It seems to me that the only person saying that lipscomb can't be beat is jettjuice. and then in the same sentence he says that they are going to be victorious over DL. he seems to have a serious case of multiple personality disorder going on. I hope it's just a good game and that the best team wins!!

Actually "we" won't line up unless "we're" players. I assume by your comments that you are not a player, so "you"won't be lining up anywhere on Friday night except the ticket line to get into a game just like me! Here's hoping the kids have fun and may the best teams win!!!

In case some of you don't realize it, mr football is not the only award being given out in high school football. Should more kids be recognized? maybe, but you don't want to make it peewee football where everybody gets a trophy and it means nothing to the people receiving it. Life is unfair and since this is people choosing who they think is the best player it will always be imperfect. DOn't worry about the people who could have won it but didn't, if they were good enough for consideration than college coaches will find them!

Apu- Even through all of your sarcasm I would have to agree with you. I doubt that a good team would ever overlook anyone, especially in the playoffs. However, there seems to be a lot of confidence coming from some of the lipscomb supporters on this board. Of course it is hard to tell at times, because they are such a sarcastic bunch. I wish they would quit trying to be funny and just post real facts instead of idiotic stuff about video games. Some people actually read this board to get clued in on things. I don't have the luxury of being around HS football as much as I want to be, and I want to know what's really going on out there. This is one way I can keep up.

jj27- I saw that game on TV and agree that lipscomb was fortunate to win. And with the roll you guys are on it could be light s out time for Lipscomb.

I wouldn't cont out prtland in any game- they are year in and year out a good team with the quality players to beat anyone on a given night. Good luck to both teams!

This is the most ridiculous discussion I have read! Don't you people have any logical arguments as to why your teams should win? Some of you haven't made a logical point anywhere on this whole message board! Logic tells me that Lipscomb should win the game, but when Houston County is on the roll that they are on, they seem like they could be a team of destiny this year. Best of luck to both teams, here's hoping the fans don't ruin it for the teams.

Am I the only person that reads these boards and is totally confused by some of these posts? What was the whole topic of a campus minister brought up for on a coaches discussion. DOn't get me wrong, I think spirituality is important but discuss it in the right forum guys, this is a thread about coaches. My vote has to go to Potter from McCallie, those guys play like a team and that is definitely a reflection on their coach.
