I have not seen them play, but looking at their schedule and record they certainly have some impressive wins. They might warrant consideration.

Get your story straight culleokarep, I have never given an excuse for an Eagleville loss. I'm sure other have, but I have not made a post making any excuses.

Oh yeah, Brentwood Academy just got upset we better update our rankings because there is no way they can reamin in the top spot after having a bad game. I mean having a bad game couldn't possibly be the reason they lost, it must be because they are not as good of a team anymore.

"Hey culleokarep, what is your excuse this time?" reply: "two things...a technical foul was called at the end that cost us the the game...and ca couldnt miss a three last night if they tried" I asked you what excuses you had and you provided two of them. "as loss to forrest by 20 is not top 10 material" And, the fact that you use this logic in your polls makes me lose all credibility I had for your polls. Middleton lost to Manassas (obviously they played a BAD GAME) but does that mean they are any less talented of a team? Nope. You can't judge on one game. Just so you know, I don't think Culleoka playing two bad games against Columbia Academy means they are not a very good team. I don't know why Culleoka lost those games. They obviously had BAD GAMES.

Culleoka loses to Columbia Academy for the SECOND time. Just wanted to update you guys for your Top 10. Hey culleokarep, what is your excuse this time? Your sparkplug didn't play again? You are quick to judge an Eagleville team you have not seen play one game this year. Well, using that logic I don't think Culleoka deserves to be in the Top 10 in the state because they have now lost to a very average Columbia Academy team twice. I haven't seen Culleoka play. So that is not a fair analysis by me, but that is what everyone else does so there you go.

Culleoka certainly deserves to be in there. Maybe even higher. But, you have Wayne Co. ranked too highly. Summertown is a logical pick at #8.

10.Columbia Academy..as much as i hate to put them on here they've earned a spot but they will be out of the top 10 when they lose saturday I think there are a number of other teams you could have put in that spot. You seem a little biased towards your district/region.

I don't have the stats, but if you are going by strictly stats I would say that either Culpepper or Weddle are averaging the most ppg.

Wayne Co. just got beat by 20 by a single A team with a losing record...

They are very possibly the best team in the state. The argument can be made for them. But, there is NO way to say there is NO question about it. Do you not know anything about Hamilton, Bolivar Central, or Mitchell. Don't just look at their records (except Hamilton who is undefeated) because Bolivar and Mitchell both lost when their best players were injured. Those three teams are PLENTY good enough to "question" whether or not BA is the best team in the state. That statement was almost as ridiculous as the guy that says Red Bank is the best team in the state.

Don't misunderstand this statement, because I think Culleoka has a good team. But, seems to be a little bias if you are putting Culleoka at the #7 spot.

Red Bank has a very good coach and some talented players. Your optimisim is a great attribute to have. And, you should believe in your team. Nothing wrong with that. So, I'm not on here to bash you or your team. I coached against your coach two years ago and hope that you guys have a very successful season and prove doubters wrong. But, looking straight at the facts without bias I would say that regardless of class Hamilton, Shelbyville, Academy (you said they only have one player, but Bone signed a D1 scholly to S. Ill.), Raligh-Egypt, Liberty Tech, Bolivar Central, and Siegel (once they get Ramsey back) would all probably beat Red Bank 9 out of 10 if they played a 10 games series. I've seen enough basketball games to not make a statement like "Red Bank couldn't beat any of those teams", because anything can happen on any given night. But, over the period of 10 games Red Bank wouldn't be able to take more than 1 game from any of the teams listed. Mitchell would be listed too, but this year they haven't proven anything YET.

You cant base your rankings on the margin of victory of one ballgame. I am not arguing for or against Pickett. Just saying that is not a good reasoning to base your rankings. Maybe Moore Co. played unbelievable (and still lost)? Maybe Pickett played subs a lot? Maybe Pickett played as bad as they could (and still won)?

Middleton won the State Championship last season, returned a lot, and they only have 2 losses this season through the course of a very difficult schedule. They haven't lost to a single A school. Until somebody in single A steps up and beats them they should remain in the top spot. They have split with Bolivar (prob the best overall team in the state) and lost to a team in Mississippi.

I wouldn't base that prediction on the Farragut game if that is the only game you have seen McMinn Central play. McMinn Central is a better team than Fulton, but now if they play bad again like they did against Farragut then it will be a different story.

Niles is not at Ridgeway this year. He is at a prep school in Florida.

Saying you doubt Gordonsville can win is a pretty bold statement for a team that just got well... I say Friendship Christian by 23...oh, oops

Rhea has no talent? That sounds like someone who is just "assuming" Rhea Co. is that same as they have been. Obviously haven't seen them play. Do they lack the depth of the other teams in their district? Yes. But, Travis and Laramore are two very "talented" players (probably two of the most physically gifted players in the district). Hale is also a good ballplayer who plays very aggressive and hard-nosed. Along with Messimer, they have four good ballplayers. I'm not saying they will be competing for the district title, but you shouldn't assume they are the "same 'ol Rhea Co. girls bball team."

MTCS is definately ahead of Community.

5 of their top 6, or 6 of their top 7 were seniors last season. They will put a very inexperienced team on the court this season. That doesn't mean they are not good. I have not seen them play this season, but what you will know is that the players on the floor this season did not get much PT last season.

A.) Blackman Boys Basketball team is horrible. They are AAA, so that is something. But, they are the worst AAA basketball team in middle Tennessee. B.) Do you guys follow UTK football? These record predictions are cracking me up. You might want to play a couple regular season games before you predict winning 99% of your games. lol, hilarious.

I would be interested in finding out when and where Grace and Van Buren will be scrimmaging. Can someone who knows that information post it on here?
