Region 6 has a few people who could surprise the big boys. The FRA 275, Valentine from lip. @ 171, Jennings 130 and Hayes 215 from Overton, martin of maplewood 103 &112, Randolph 140 hillsboro, and dont forget the region 6 OW and wrestler of the year ARI IBRAHIM it may be a surprise to you or an upset but he will be there and I would say that he has a good chance to win it all. Look out for the Bobcats of the future (7 returning qualifiers). Good luck to all region 6 wrestlers.

clarksville does an outstanding job, no doubt. But have the state duals outgrown the small gym?? it is a great atmosphere, but try finding a seat. All other TSSAA championship events are held at good venues (football/MTSU-Indy wrestling/UTC-Basketball/MTSU) why not let Clarksville continue to run it but move it to the Dunn center??? or even the little Red Barn if it is still there

Nununu Overton is on top because of hard work and the dedication of Gabe and Pozdol. If someone else from region 6 wants to go to the state duals then maby they should bust that a.. a little more and get it done. Overton doesnt dodge anyone they just work a little harder. if thats a crime then gabe and the cats are guilty. Maby some of these metro coaches should get off their butts and build a program to compete w/ johs Marc taylor at FRA has closed the gap but where is McGavock?? Antioch??? Hillsboro??? they dont even want to wrestle overton unless they are forced to (district/ region duals). Please dont slight or hate this program because of the success. They are not as good as Gabe would like but they will battle, and the future is looking bright.

jcu shouldnt you be teaching class or something. Talon would start for most all schools. He needs to add some strength but he can hang with most.

Reb wrestler and nununu want to wager on Talon for next year?? he could beat 2/3 of the 103 in TN right now and only weighs 98 lbs. He will be dominant. He is sitting behind a pretty good 103 in Tayar.

cbq- lets make everyone feel good. Ibrahim is a state champion and has wrestled anyone and everyone( hiller, simpson) he wants to wrestle against the best. His honor is greatly deserved. This is TSSAA not the ncaa or world championships.

Dragon is incorrect, Region 6 Overton Drew Bradley in 01. sooner or later the "blind Draw" will have to pit Soddy v Bradley. Oh well the blind draw must have eyes.

Overton has beaten Kenwood, and whould have killed Hillsboro in the district duals had FRA not done it first. can the bobcats get some love?? at least a mention??

nununu as mentioned earlier who who who will beat the cats. They defeated FRA last night. Hillsboro was overmatched from the start. FRA is up and coming. The other district will have to pull a huge upset to get to the region finals. FRA and Overton will hook up next weekend in the region finals and the cats will dominate. Bags are packed and the bus is running, see you in Clarksville.
