  1. Thanks KittyKat for the link via Fulton fan. I thought one picture was that of a dome we would play in and then I realized it was a greenhouse. LOL
  2. Knoxville will be like Macon County's second home this Friday night. Almost everyone here has been to Neyland stadium about 100 times so I am sure that we will feel at home at the Fulton stadium. It will be strange looking across the field to face the enemy only to realize they are sitting beside us. I am looking forward to making the long trip, that should give our restlessness time to fester, we will be ready to HIT SOMEBODY when we arrive. Wait, that's for the players, I got a little carried away. I believe the fastest team that we have faced is Chattanooga Howard, obviously no problem for us, they went back home and stayed there. LOL The unknown of Fulton is intriging. Are they big, ugly, toothless, bowlegged, humpbacked, vertically challenged, horizontally unchallenged, like me. These are honest, valid questions that I would like answered.
  3. If your luck is like mine, your clone would take home your paycheck, take all of your possesions and you would be left in jail, arrested for identity theft. LOL I think all of that would be worth going to the game.
  4. I am someone that you thought was in everyone that has gone to bed. I am still awake and having a blast, I wish it was a Sonic Blast, M+M flavor. BTW Is that Mrs tigerfan or Mr Stigerfan. LOL I am getting delerious and hungry. GO TIGERS EAT OWLS, I meant Beat Owls. Hunger has taken over my brain.
  5. I am like Mrstigerfan , I can't sleep. I think I'll jump the fence and get my seat right now. The city Police may find me, but they can't jump the fence, so no worries with that. Just kidding. I know, I'll go hunting for a Hoot Owl. I'll bring it with me tonight for everyone to see. Wouldn't that be a Hoot.........owl! I've got it, I'll go out and find a stray cat. I'll paint him up to look like a Bengal Tiger and turn him loose in the SC stands. It won't cause many problems until I turn the Black and Tan Coon Hound loose. I would do it, but if there is a seeing eye dog there and it sees the cat.......... well, I would get thrown in jail and miss the rest of the playoffs. NOW I HAVE THE PERFECT IDEA! I will bring Al Gore to the game. He will sit on the SC bleachers and start talking. After five minutes of Ozone depletion mumbo jumbo, every one on that side will leave. So now I must go and call him, he will have to beg Tipper to let him out of the mundane house for a wild night of football.
  6. How could any football game be more exciting than this one. For MC it has been hard through the years not getting to where your football dreams take you. I ran around in my house like an Owl with its head cutoff when I saw the Music City Miracle, and I was thrilled to see the Titans win the AFC championship (in person) over the Jaquars. However, when MC won the game against Grundy County, I went into shock. I have never been so proud of our team, coaches, and fans. We are so close to the pinnicle of football and I am enjoying the dickens out of it. No matter what happens tonight, it has already been an incredible journey. I know tonights game and this season will be remembered in the barbershops, restaurants, around town for decades to come. This is what Football is all about, kids enjoying a huge measure of success that will give them confidence, persistance, and courage for their lives ahead. No doubt, scholarships will follow after this season. How great that will be for those guys.
  7. I am thinking about calling George Plaster and getting him to say that Smith County wins, BOOK IT! That should guarantee a victory for MC
  8. Saturdays Headline reads as follows: It was a chilly Friday night on November 21, 2003. A day that will live in infamy for every man, woman, and child in Middle Tennessee. Pat Parker field in Lafayette, TN hosting two powerhouse teams in a do or die matchup, the stands spilling over into the streets with people nervously and eagerly awaiting to see young men trade bonecrushing hits and running like the wind. Smith County, almost too sad to write about was not prepared for what happened. Macon County steeped in confidence, intestinal fortitude, and raw explosive power did something we had never seen before. Women hid their children's faces, grown men wept, broadcasters somehow became silent. The Tigers with their razor sharp claws ran down the wounded owls and feasted on their delicate fowl meat. The Tigers were stronger, smarter, faster, and just plain tougher than the opposition. Macon County scored four unanswered touchdowns to win the game 28-0. The frozen tundra of Pat Parker field has never seen a devouring game like this in history nor will it ever in the future.
  9. Thank you for that compliment. I am certainly loving Macon County Football this year. So much, that I am still up reading this stuff. I can not wait till Friday night, it will be better than home made oatmeal cookies. Now I'm getting hungry! Haven't seen you in a while, may not see you at the ballgame, but if I listen real close I bet I can hear some hollering right on pitch. LOL BTW Wonder if Big Dawg will be at the jungle (Pat Parker Field) Friday night?
  10. The only BigReid from Pleasant Shade that I know is an excellent vocalist and pianist. Please tell me this is him, the one and only. Let me know, so I can go to bed, I can not rest until I know for sure.
  11. Passion abounds for these two teams from Middle TN. I am glad we have something to argue about in the Middle of November. Basketball will just have to wait. My prediction MC 21 SC 6 Sound familar?
