Ok Expert...here we go again. I dunno why you try to get on here and dog everyone from Lewis Co. but I went and did a little investigating of my own and you will be suprsed what i have found. Lewis Co-(5-1) Moore co.(1-4)= W 51-14 Mt. Pleasant(0-6)= W 61-0 Harpeth(1-4)= W 35-6 Riverside(4-1)= L 21-14 Fairview(4-2)= W 14-0 Law. Co.(0-5)= W 26-12 Waverly-(4-1) Camden(0-5)= W 21-0 Richland(1-4)= W 48-0 Houston Co.(0-5)= W 33-14 Harpeth(1-4)= W 18-0 Mont. Cent.(3-2= L 13-9 Now I dunno about you but if my results are right then that adds up to be 10-22 combined opponents win/loss for Lewis Co. and 5-20 for Waverly. We both have played only one team alike which was harpeth with us beating them 11 more points than you did. May I also point out that against the weaker teams we have put them away early and beat them easier than Waverly. So with this said I am gonna stick with my prediction as stated earlier and say Waverly has not played one team worth basing their future on. I guess this is why we play on Fri nights though.....to see who wins on the field and not on paper. Better bring your A game bc I got a feeling Jessie isn't gonna be enough to beat us. Good luck Panthers!!!!!! By the way I am gonna say Waverly wins 1 more on their schedule....which is Stewart co. Losses to Lewis Co,Loretto,Riverside, and Fairview. And also may I add that Waverly comes in with an outstanding strength of schedule holding down the 40th spot!!!!! Come on Expert. You are dogging Lewis Co. about their schedule when you are holding the 9th easiest in the state!!!! Also if you would look to the chart to your right...not your left...that you would find Lewis Co.'s success rating is 13th at 1.21 right behind Waverly at #14 at 1.22. Enough said!!! Well I guess we are gonna see if this Waverly team is for real this week. Looking forward to this week for it is out Homecoming along with a chance to stop another contender. I don't see anything impressive enough by Waverly to get me to predict a loss for the Panthers so I am gonna say LC-35 Waverly-14. Good luck Panthers!!!

I don't understand why everyone is saying Lawrence really has a chance to come out on top. I mean yeah it could happen but on paper I think everyone knows they are not in the same class as Lewis Co right now. Not at all dogging Lawrence County but I think the talent level and coaching is better in Lewis Co. Lewis Co. has struggled offensively the last two ames but I believe these struggles are gonna help our team in the long run. They have yet to give up in a game even being whipped in the first half against an excellent coached Riverside team. Fairview could have been uglier had it not been raining I believe but the D did give up some yardage againt Cothran....but also hel him out of the endzone....which is all that matters. But I guess we will just have to see how it plays out bc this is why they play on Fri nights.....to see who is gonna win on the field...not on paper. I am still amazed that some think an 0-4 team can hang with a top 10 team in 2A. Good luck Panthers!!!

Where did Hickey play and when?

Very good fullback a couple of years ago. Holds some school records in foortball and baseball. He was at Union but transferred 2 years ago to UTM to play football. Tore his shoulder up 2 weeks ago again and not sure if he is gonna have surgery or play with it. Very good athlete though....along with his bro who signed with Austin Peay to play football in early 90's and set their longest td run on first carry ever.

Look "Expert"....i started not to reply to this carzy heading but I can't stop thinking about it. I know I along with several other people are upset that someone as mature as a Waverly fan would go down to the level of actually expressing his opinion about something he knows nothing about?? I mean how mature is that? I can't remember one single time that a panther fan has made up a message titled to disgrace a whole county. Now granted I jave made posts abut some fans but only after they have taken shots at me or Lewis Co. first. The chances are good that you was not at the Harpeth game bc there were 4 scores called back on us. Now i agree with maybe 2 of them but the other 2 were horrible calls. As far as the fans being immature I don't really think any of our real fans are. Now granted there are gonn be those who support their team only when things are peachy but what true fan does not question some things about their team after a loss...not to mention one they felt like they should have won? Isn't that part of being a fan? But I guess we should just shut up and stay quiet and not give our opinions about the game or players or decisions about the coaches. I venture to say that every true Lewis Co. Panther fan knows what a great coaching staff we have. Anyone who knows anything about small town high school football knows how difficult it is to be a winning program year in year out. Our coaching staff continues to do that and continues to have our support. As for the David Sharp comments you posted.....those are not complaining or being immature....just questions brought up in the minds of the fans who feel we could use him at different places on the field. My personal opinion is that the QB is the general of the team on the field. David has always shown great leadership and when a big play is needed he has not be one to shy away. I will say and wonder why he is not involved some way in on the defense but our coaches know more than we the fans about our team and I trust they will make the best choice possible to put our Panthers in position to win every time we step on the field to play this great sport of football. So please "Expert".....as mature as you think you are....take a step up a level in maturity and not title a message post about any fans or teams. Let's just go out and support our teams coaches and other fans.....and enjoy this season win or lose.

My prayers go out to the HInson family. My dad was good friends with Jimmy. We will all miss him but we will all remember what he went through and the smile he gave us. See you in Heaven Jimmy.

Look dude. I didn't play f-ball but all of my family has and if you knew your stuff then you would know who I am talking about. I sure do wish I could know who you are but your too scared to say who you are. Everyone knows who I am and I can guarentee you I could come to lil ol Perry Co. and be the next Heisman candidate for your stinkin town bc ya'll have no athletes!!!! Get over it man. Do us all a favor and make your own Perry Co. thread and when you all gain respect from other people in the state then I might give you a hand. But I promise until people like you stop getting on here making your school look like a bunch of selfish wannabes than your not gonna get any respect. Shut your mouth and buckle your straps and play ball.....but for you just shut your trap and root for your team in a respectful way.

Hands down in my opinion....David Sharp and Jonathan Ward. Just bc a man may throw for a thousand yards this early in the year doesn't mean he is the best. Alot depends on what offense you are running. These two QB's are very talented. I would suggest if you have an off week or just like to see talented players play the game then take a trip to see Collinwood or Lewis Co. play. Would be well worth your dollars.

I think it was pretty obvious at the number of bad calls. Yes some were legit but the "big" plays just happened to get a flag everytime. imaviking.....you kill me. I am sure we will be thinking about you when we pass by "Vikling Stadium"? You mean the baseball field down there? LOL. Give me a break...that game will be for the c-team to get their minutes in bc we don't have many games scheduled for our b and c teams.LOL. Class of 94 whop are you by the way? I have tried to figure it out but can't Either way I don't understand why you are so against Lewis Co's team this year. Oh well I gues it doesn't really matter bc every team has it's true fans and it's true haters. Looking forward to this week's game in Riverside. Should be a good one.

I am so sorry we will have to ruin your optimist outlook this early in the season. I have read your posts all summer up till now and I'll have to give it to you.....you do have hope. But that is where it stops bc I know if your any honest football fan then your gonna have to admit to yourself we have the better talent now. I mean come on....we can score on anyone. Our offense is loaded and I sure hope it doesn't get ugly early for you. Lokk sportman. Talk all you want to on here but just be sure you bring your game fri night. This might be the most talented team we have had since 95. Our offense can score from just about any play and we are so deep that it is scary. Our defense has better team speed overall than last year so all I want is a good game fri night between to unevenly matched teams. I don't care what anyone says....Harpeth isn't the same as they were in the "glory" days. Yes ya'll had some good teams but that is the past and that is all set in stone. Lewis Co. is never thinking about the past. We want to write this chapter this year. And I personally think it is ours to lose. Loretto is gonna be our biggest threat with a very talented offense. I just can't wait till Friday......by the way...wouild you be man enough to let us know your REAL name or REAL jersey #? Not that we would be targeting you or anything.LOL

just read this whole post tonight. sometimes i wonder why parents act like they do....and sometimes i wonder why players act like they do. let's not forget there are some COACHES out there that play the favorites or the ones whose parents are most powerfull. it bothers me that the parents do seem a little worse now than years back. but most of the kids who have problems are the ones whose parents are yelling in the stands for them only and not the team. i will always admire those coaches who get the most out of their players. i was a player who although may have not been the most talented in order to play alot but had the most desire and leadership on our team. my coach realized that and tried to get me to use it to get to my teamates. it worked and although i did not fully understand it then(and my parents didn't like me not playing either) i appreciate it now. taught me alot in life. just bc you are not part of the action on the floor doesn't mean you are not part of the outcome. by the way...goodmark to you parothead14....i admire your thoughts. where have you coached? hey...like I stated earlier.....it is true. I don't care really if you believe it or not. I have seen it with my own eyes and so has everyone else. This kid has been weightlifting since he was prob. in the 6th grade. Tremendous athlete in all sports. If you wanna see it to believe it come on down. We would be glad to show you. Speaking of Michael Vick? He doesn't put up those #'s either for whoever you are talking about. I would HAVE to see it to believe that. Sounds like a living steroid. I can verify that he is benching 405 right now max. He also runs a 4.4 40....now as far as all his other weights I am not sure but I would venture to say that they are probrobly on up there. This guy is a true athelete in all senses of football...playing and weightlifting. I fyou don't believe me that is fine....just make a trip down to Lewis Co. sometime next season.
