  1. I appologize for that previous statement. But Kaz, I think that you need to sit back and look at what you are typing before you post it. You are always allowed to get your point across, but I, along with everyone else is not. I have an inside source of what is going on, so Mr. Kaz, I do know more than you do on this subject. Lambert, Crowley, and Jacobs have got to find ways to score but they have to have the touches to be able to do this. I understand that it is hard to complain when you are 3-1 but the competition has not been much so far. You have to be able to get up when you play Wartburg and Coalfied and you have got to be able to shoot the ball. BigTime, I am sorry if I made you mad because those were not my intentions. Kill I know you always have a "close seat" lol... to the floor so you know what I am talking about when I say those 3 have got to be counted on every night.
  2. I'll give this team credit when they show me something. There have been some signs of their potential but they have not put it all togethor. This team is not 10 deep and I don't care who says they are because they are wrong. I have been around these kids for a long time and I know what they can and can't do. As for your little quote on the "centers".....it is like this Bob, I am harder on the "centers" than anybody else could think about being. But you know, I would say you would be getting a little bit frustrated too and miss some easy shots if you went from getting about 30 touches a game to only about 10. That comment has nothing to do with the coach because he wants to get it inside, but it is hard when everyone plays a zone against us. And until we start hitting some outside shots they ain't gonna play man. It's jerks like you that are continuing to bring Oneida athletics down. Have some respect after all these are kids we are talking about. Oh yeah, I know who you are Bob.
  3. Kaz....don't let last night fool ya. We ain't that deep.
  4. Oneida missed 16 free throws. Hard to win any game when you shoot that bad from the line.
  5. Old Highlander, if you have nothing better to do than sit around and watch your stuff get smaller and bash Oneida then I suggest you either stick with the first one or get a new hobby. Real Oneida fans don't get on SHS threads and start this stuff so why do feel it is so neccessary. Good luck to the highlanders and Go Indians.
  6. For Oneida to win Friday night, the big 3 (Lambert, Crowley, Jacobs) must play near perfect games. Wartburg is always a tough matchup for the Indians but hopefully this will be our year.
  7. Oneida could have scored a whole lot more and the girls could have held Oakdale to a whole lot less, but the plug was pulled pretty early.
  8. I opened the paper this morning and it said Oakdale beat Harriman. Is this true?
  9. I think this is going to be the year the Lady Indians find a way to beat Clarkrange.
  10. Do you ever do anything in school.....lol. I think that Oneida should win this game, but the 4 seniors are going to have to take control early and let everyone else know this is your team. Good Luck.
  11. I don't know who was or wasn't in foul trouble, but maybe our girls didn't have to foul your girls to stop them. In all seriosness, WB has a good team and Puleo is a good player, but last night Oneida was the better TEAM.
  12. First of all I don't think the refs made a single shot for Oneida and I know for a fact that the girls from WB were fouling because none of them were complaining except for the "All American". Oneida out-played, out-shot, and out-rebounded your girls all night long, so if you can't find anything else to complain about then I suggest you go back to "civilization" (if you are who I think you are youknow what I am talking about) and find something else to complain about. p.s. The "ALL American" had 5 fouls because right before she got her 5th foul her coach told her to be careful because she had 4.
  13. It was a 25+/- point game. The Indians looked good at times and really bad at times. Early in the first half Logan Crowley was tripped and then stomped by one of WB's players and he had to go to the hospital to get stitches in his chin. Lambert got the ball to the goal and handled the ball well, Jacobs got two early fouls and once he was back in the game they had trouble geting him the ball. Rebounding needs to improve and a couple of players need to settle down and distribute the ball more.
  14. I have heard some very good things about Coach King and I know that the players are very excited to be playing for him. It appears that the players are able to express themselves a little more than they have the past couple of years, which I think is a good thing, and they all seem to be more relaxed. I have also heard that the rotation has been cut way down and there will no longer be mass substitutions, which will only help becasue it will allow the kids on the floor to develope more team chemistry. Benji Jacobs is a very big part of the team but a couple of other names you better get used to hearing are Zack Lambert and Logan Crowley because I am expecting a whole lot out of all 3 of these kids. Good luck this year!
  15. Yeah I have but I know this is correct because in 2000 a kid returned one 97 yards for a TD and Phil was happy because his record was not broke then.
  16. Hey Kaz I am pretty sure that Phil Merideth (spelling) holds the record, and it is something like 102 yards.
  17. Heart, determination, desire, work ethic............nah, they just didn't have money. No wonder you were "leftbehind"
  18. The administration at Oneida better do every thing in their power to keep TL here. In my opinion he is the man that can get Oneida back to where they used to be.
  19. 1993-1996 94' team went to the semi-finals.
  20. Ok......If you are not a player then how do you know what it is like to get hit by someone in Scott High's region? If you used to play then you still don't know what it is like out there this year now do ya?
  21. Good post WW. Even though there are those of us who are very opinionated, does not mean that we think the current coaching staff is incapable of getting this team back on track.
