Sycamore should have a pretty good rotation this season....Josh Knight, Daniel Doubler, Justin McCain, Preston Quillen should give us some good innings and we also have Jacob Forbes in relief.

When does that tournment start ( saturday or tuesday) and on what nights will the championship game be played?

ksgovols, call me crazy but after playing Harpeth with RD and playing them without him I honestly think they are better without him. That might be an insane theory but they have a lot of good players that can fill it up and with him in there he will take some of their shots. Dont get me wrong he is a great player and Harpeth is a great team with or without him but thats my opinion.

I thought Newton was the deciding factor for Harpeth. Erland and Davis got their points but Newton came up big when they needed him.

slube, Bullard probably did lower his shoulder but the defender was still not in position. I dont want to make any excuses though, it was a great game and Sycamore could have pulled it out but they didnt. Maybe we can face Harpeth again in the tourney. I have a lot of respect for their players for the most part they played with a lot of class.

This game could have gone either way and once again it did not go to Sycamore. With like 25 secs. left Sycamore was up by 1 and Harpeth was throwing the ball in from the side and Bullard commited a horrible foul on Harpeths Erland. It was not a very smart play at all by Bullard. Erland hit both of the fts and Sycamore called a timeout. Harpeth came out in a zone and Sycamore swung the ball around and Bullard drove the middle and a Harpeth defender slid over and supposively took a charge. He was still sliding under him when he made contact. Harpeth hit 2 fts and Sycamore had a last shot to tie it but were unsuccessful. Sycamore loses another close one and maybe they can get it together before tourney time or it will be all over for them.

Who r the teams to beat this year in 9aa, and where is marshall county at in the mix of this district?? didnt see them even male the list. They r in your district arent they?

Catfish i dont know if it is a blessing. CW was beating us by 10 going into the 4th qt. in our last meeting. They are as good as any in 10-aa.

From what i saw of the CW and Cheatham game if you pressure CW's guards then they have a hard time running their offense. That being said i dont think Waverly will pressure them much and it will be close in the 1st half but Waverly will pick it up and run away with it in the 2nd half.

Page might make it to the finals of their district and if they do they will be killed by Giles. They will lose in the 1st round of the region to one of the 10-AA teams. PatrioFan, you are not very smart. Catfish gets on here and talks about Giles but he does not like them at all. He attented Sycamore and still pulls for them all the time. Just because people get on here and talk about a certain team does not mean they like them.

Swamptiger, Im glad that you can actually admit that the calls were horrible. Waverly is vulnerable to the press and teams should probably take advantage of that. It should be a fun district tourney but i just wish that it wasnt at Stewart County.

Alright i have a question.....If Harpeth beats Montgomery Central and loses to Sycamore, Sycamore and Harpeth will have the same record. Who gets what seed? Sycamore has beaten CW twice and CW swept Harpeth but Harpeth beat Cheatham both times and Sycamore lost twice. Im confused does it go to a coin flip or what, someone please enlighten me.

Im going to elaborate on the game tonight. In the 1st half Sycamore couldnt hit a shot and Ricco did what he wanted scoring like 17. BTW the fouls were like 10 to 3 in the half in favor of Waverly. Sycamore was down 13 at the half. In the 2nd Waverly went up by like 18 and then Sycamore started hitting some shots and came back to within 4 or 5. Thats when the refs decided that Sycamore shouldnt win and started making the worst calls ive ever seen in my life. They were calling Sycamore for touch fouls all night. One thing that came to mind was when Sycamores Dustin Watts came off a screen and nailed a 3 but Waverlys #41 was hurt on the play so they took the points off the board. This was one of the worst calls ive ever seen, we all know that even when someone is hurt the refs wait til a dead ball to check on him. Another thing that happened was Sycamore was trying to foul Waverly and one of the refs called an intentional foul. What an idiot. So Waverly hit 2 fts and got the ball back. I might sound like im whining about the game and your right i am. Even Waverlys head coach told us that we got cheated out of the game and it shouldnt have ended like that. Speaking of the end of the game, Leonard missed a ft and Sycamore got the ball down by 1 and Josh Rives brought the ball up the floor and shot a 3, Waverlys #41 tackled him and no foul was called and the game was over. The refs ran off the floor as fast as their unatheletic bodys would let them. It was a good thing because Sycamores fans were about to riot.
