  1. Congrats to Brian Marshall, Sean Brown and Michael Welch for making the TSWA 5A All-State team.
  2. The Knoxville News Sentinel is reporting that Smith will commit to ND. http://www.knoxnews.com/kns/sports/
  3. Todd Windham is moving from Hixson to Lakeview-Ft. Oglethorpe in Georgia. The 37-year old Windham has been the head football coach at his alma mater for the past five seasons. His record at Hixson was 27-25. http://www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_98688.asp
  4. We can all put the rumors to rest. Allen is not going to LFO. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe hired Todd Windham to be their head coach. Windham has been the head coach at Hixson for the last 5 years. His record at Hixson was 27-25.
  5. Have you seen them play this season?
  6. Oh I believe they could "keep up" -- but I don't think Skogen has even come close to scoring 38 this year. Of course, he doesn't need to.
  7. I know Temple won their game, but I'm not sure of the score.

  12. Well, I'm not sure about everyone on this list but I'm pretty sure Temple's Seth Skogen, Josh Smith and Erik Larson were all-city and all-region. Are they not All-State material?
  13. So are you saying that the players selected by the sportswriters do not deserve the All-State honors? If not, who would you have selected?
  14. It appears that RB is undisciplined on the defensive side of the ball.

  20. Without any question -- Seth Skogen (WR), Josh Smith (MLB) and Erik Larson (QB) of Temple.
  21. 1. Temple 2. McCallie 3. Red Bank 4. Howard 5. Brainerd 6. East Ridge 7. Grace 8. Notre Dame 9. Chattanooga Christian 10. Hixson
  22. Temple has some pretty good defenders in Dee Newson, Jeremy Sexton and Josh Smith.
  23. ND beat Central and Ooltewah. Baylor hasn't won a game. I'm not that crazy about CCS -- but they did beat Hixson. Hixson beat ND. So, I guess I would put the Owls at #11, Central at #12, then Baylor at #13 for the time being.
  24. I'm not aware of any "off the floor issues". This Temple team is a very good ball team and will win most, if not all, of their games.
