So Watertown will win the Region. Who will travel to Chattanooga?

No one expected what happened with Friendship last year due in large part because people had not seen them and everything just fell in place for them. CSAS has the talent and now the experience to have the same thing happen this year. Time will tell.

Grace will compete and Boyd should also get legitimate consideration when you look at the top teams in the district. Silverdale is somewhat unknown and Copper is always tough place to play.

Enough about the west. What about middle and east tennessee? CSAS in the east looks to make a return after getting beat in the substate by Friendship last year.

Grace went to the State Tourney last year and CSAS lost in the Substate.....both to eventual champion Friendship. What does this district look like this year?

Someone wanted to know about CSAS. Very young, very inexperienced to start the year. Lost entire 8 man rotation from previous year including two all state guards. Played a BRUTAL schedule this year like they always do. Starting to come together as the post season winds down. FCS is at least Twenty points better this year but enjoy it while you can. For the next MANY years the Patriots are going to be TOUGH!

I just don't know if Lake County beating Humbolt, Westwood, and Middleton is as impressive as it would have been in years past. Humbolt really hasn't done anything in the state lately, Westwood is really no better than they were last year when Grace beat them. Middleton I don't know anything about them, may have been the matchup in LC's favor. Just not sold on how good a team Lake County is. Maybe they are really good. If they are really good then the west must have been awesome this year.

Fast break? Full court press? Is that what you mean by run? Has Lake County been to the State Tournament before?

Their game was better than CSAS that day. BTW.....CSAS tried to play CA this year and no matter what dates they offered CA would not play. CSAS even offered to travel to CA on a Tuesday night that was open for both teams and Coach Smith said NO. ???

Who do you consider a "big name" team? Someone from W.TN or M.TN? CSAS from E.TN lost to CA by 9 in the state final four last year. They played a terrible game against CA last year, have everyone back and have had a great season so far and are dramatically better. But I guess they are not a "contender" in your opinion.........

Ball handling, offensive skills. It seems the better a school's football program is the basketball team suffers. This is not true in every case, but I believe it applies here.

Jackson County playing at home and Clay traveling to Chattanooga?

Do you think they will come out of your region with Jackson or will Jackson and Clay be the teams?

Most district tournaments are on February 18, 19, 21, 22. Didn't know if this was a state rule or up to the districts.
