I like Harriman against Union county this Friday. This isnt the best year Harriman's had , but it is deffinately better than anyone thought it would be. All of our best players will be rested for this game due to the sittig out against Alcoa(54-0) and will be fully energized to take on a Union County team who barely beat the Devils last year in their rebuilding year. thumb

Why is it always when a team has its best set of players it could have for harriman everything falls apart. We had Talent this year beyond any other year for the past 5 years. But still we fail to beat key teams (Rockwood) I'm losing my faith in my team, I will not post any more if Harriman does not beat Unaka tonight.

Harriman Girls were down by 8 in the first quarter but they came back to beat the lady tigers, Estridge, Fuqua,Pollit, and Webb Made a great comeback and had a good game and put another one in the W column. Go Lady Devis! Looking for the return of April Little so she can boost the girls' performance on the court.

I figured Rhea County And Austin East would be higher in the rankings at the beginning of the season. But I am pleased with where they are. Austin East needs to move up some more though.

Harriman will host Wartburg tomorrow. Hopefully since this is a mountaineer team, Harriman will have a good game and get some shooting practice in. We're waitin for January 9th for Rockwood, if we lose again look for an all out brawl on the court after the game. I hate Rockwood! Harriman wasn't at the top of their game. Miller led the team with a little over 20 points I belive. WIll Pelfrey had a three pointer and the Tigers managed to keep Kreis isolated, holding him to 3 points. Thomas Davis held Patrick Davis like a little boy with with a dog on a leash. I know those refs were screwin us because Rockwood's #42 passed the ball to the ref, but I could understand the mistake because the refs were helpin them all night, I guess 42 thought the ref would shoot a 3 for Rockwood.I'm still the harriman fan, and I still hate Rockwood with a passion, but I will congradulate them on their win.

Rockwood has had a pretty good record so far but they havent had any real challenges yet and I think they'll find that challenge in harriman. I look to see harriman by 7. Hopefully Adam will be better and over the Flu for this game. I predict 4 three's from Billy, 6 from Adam, 3 from Tyler, and 0 from Patrick, with 4 from curtis. Pelfrey is gonna hit some shots at first man off the bench, he'll be more 100% than the others when he comes in. Make that harriman by 10.
