Clay Co. needs to think of a new better excuse for tonight. It's gonna take more than freethrows to beat us tonight. You might want to try Westmorelands excuse and say that you have the flu. Clay County beats Pickett COunty 60-55. Dusty Adams, defensive player of the year, holding Joseph Bailey to only 11 points tonight. Eric Stafford hit big shots down the stretch, as well as did Dusty Adams. Chase Stephens coming in with a big game tonight also, not sure on the points,, but played good defensively and offensively not bad night. Jnathon Frazier coming in with the rebounds, and having a pretty good offensive night. Saylor played good defensively and pulled some big boards. 3 way tie for 1st as long as we can hold down HS.

Clay County beat Clarkrange tonight at Clay Co., any takes on the game, Chase Stephens came in there with 20ish tonight, Stafford also played good, as well as the rest of the Bulldogs, Does anyone have any takes on this game!

One factor in holding down Joseph Bailey, if 27 points is being held down, is that Dusty from Clay Co. was holding him a lot and didn't get called for it. Well, that call at the end by the ref on the holding that put Bailey at the line to shoot 2 FT was holding, but also you have to look at it the other way around, on the last posession when Stafford was dribbling down the court, he was killed, and was held worse than i think anyone in the game. If you are going to call the one on Dusty Adams, then you have to call the one at the end the same way. Another thing is unless it's absolutely murder at the end of the game I dont think that the ref should blow his whistle, the ref should not have an impact on who wins or loses the game. Just my opinion what do others think??? P.S. No doubt an outstanding game by Joseph Bailey, and Josh Wright, along with Luke Mason who played a heck of a defensive game(BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER IN THE DISTRICT, Luke's got my vote)GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and by the way, you may think we are a bunch of "WHINERS" or "CRYBABIES", but obviously you two morons weren't at the game, because any idiot that was at the game would have seen the same thing no matter which team you are for, because there was a reason that we had 4 starters out in the 3rd quarter, that don't happen every night now does it, and what about the T on #33 Eric Stafford when he was on the bench, how can you explain that, when the VB bench and the Clay county bench stood up, and he singles out one individual player, I bet you have a smart-allic remark about that too don't you, I think CoachT boards should only be allowed to be used by people who actually know what they are talking about, which you guys don't, I mean it is very plqain to see that you weren't at the game. We will find out who is whining at your place when we maybe will get impartial refs.LOL LOL By the way GOOD LUCK against Brentwood Academy this Friday night, I might come to that game, and we will see if you have enough refs to handle the eight people they have that can dunk, and i will lay money on the fact that you don't unless you get the same three pitiful, horrible excuses for a ref, and by the way it must not be that hard to pass that test if they did it, they did not know nothing. This will probably be a good game, since Chase Stephens will not be playing in this game due to an ankle injury sustained in the Van Buren County Game on Saturday night. Eric Stafford may not play because of two T's he got the other night against VB County. Therefore, this will be a very good game, and it will come down to who wants it the most, CCHS really needs to win this game. If they come out ready to play, even with the injuries, and the players not playing or may not be playing, they can still win this game to send them into the Christmas Break with a record of 6-4. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Clay County would have won had the refs been a little bit better, and we will see what happens when we go to there place, and they are not near the team that we are, and by the way VB beat Westmoreland because half their team was out with the flu.

There is absolutely no way that you can say that this game was not ref'd bad. Obviously you were not there at the game, or else you would know it was, and by the way Frazier was backing up and never opened his mouth adn everyone there knew that. And if you can explain the refing not being bad then explain this, How Did Eric Stafford get a T when both teams were standing and he did not even have a towel which they said he threw down, cussed them, and threw his hands in the air, How could that ref have heard him cussing if he was on the opposite side of the court. The refs were horrible and we will show that when we play you all at your place.GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was this the worst game ever to be officiated, or what? True that Clay County did not play very good at all but it is very hard to when your team is given 4 technical fouls, and 40 fouls in the whole game. One of the T's was given to jon Frazier, who was getting cussed out by the kid and never said a word, all he was doing was backing up and keeping is mouth shut and the kid kept going toward him, they were both given a technical. Eric Stafford got a T while sitting on the bench, after already fouling out, there was another bad call, and as the bench stood up the ref picked him out of the all the people standing and gave him a T. he also got a T for saying something like "Oh My God", and he was not even saying it to the referee. The officiating in this game was truly the worst I have ever seen. Clay County lost this game by arouond 20 points, as the VB Eagles played their starters until about 30 seconds remaining even after CCHS starters were all either fouled out or sitting because the refs would not let them play. We had five people to foul out one with four fouls, and at least two to three with three fouls. Van Buren County shot 56 free throws, and total in the game there were about 82 free throws shot. You know something went wrong when a Clay County team lost to Van Buren County who is at least 15-20 points worse than them. Van Buren fed off the refs BAD calls. Hopefully all this should do is fuel the fire for Clay County after getting messed over in this game and putting them at 5-4, they should want to come out and beat Gordonsville on Tuesday night @ Gordonsville, and should make them want to improve over Christmas and win the tournaments and games they are in at Livingston and at Adair County, KY. GOOD LUCK TO THE BULLDAWGS, we will get them next time, when the reffing is not as lop sided, GET THE TIGERS!!!!!!!GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Red Boiling Springs will be all fired up after the loss to Gordonsville Tuesday night, and if they will outrebound the Bulldogs, Westmoreland will pull out a W in this one as well, but if they let the Bulldogs get to the boards, then it will probably be a 10-15 point game, i think it all comes down to rebounding, who will do it, and who will not, whichever team gets outrebounded will lose this game.
