wow i just got to read the last two pages and there seems to be alot of tension. first of all i would like to give credit to Rockwood, they are a good team that played a great game and deserved to win. second i would like to say that most teams i have played against have shown alot of class in which cases i try to show the same back. the incident with the neuse was at Midway it was before the game and two Midway players stood down the hall from the CAK locker room spinning them around. i really hate that CAK has seemed to have been so unsportsmanlike this year, i dont know if it was more the team or the fans but im guessing it was the fans. good luck to Cosby and Rockwood the rest of your seasons. and ill see you all next year.

i disagree, after playing Rockwood i think they have 1 or 2 guards that could slow hall down. the only way you stop him is to double team him and then there is someone open that he can pass to.

i have been in many games and seen many games where the refs seem to call for one team in the first half and call for the other team in the second half. i dont know if they do it on purpose or feel bad after the first half of what but that was just something i have noticed.

yea i was there. seems like all the teams in your district are pretty evenly matched. they all play extremly good defence. i was really impressed with Harriman, since we hadnt played them this year i didnt know how good they were except for their scores, but that #22 is a player.

it is a sad time when you must give up something you have loved and spent alot of time doing. you may not miss it as much as you would think you would once its gone. coaching could be a good idea but would probubly also make you want to be a cheerleader again even more. gool luck and i hope youre life turns out well.

Angel is Davis' daddy. He had 7 blocks last time CAK played Rockwood and about 4 of them were on Davis. Of course CAK still lost and I think Davis had about 18 pts but whatever.

I was called for a foul in the District Championship against Cosby last friday night and i wasnt even in the game. The book keepers told the ref that I wasnt and he gave them the number of the first person he saw. bad calls were made on both sides though and this one didnt really effect the game much, but i thought it was kinda dumb.

kevin hall is playing better than anyone in the region right now. he has stepped his game up just in time for the tournament (not the he was bad before) and was clearly the MVP of the 3A district tourny.

yea its no longer the McGaha Black show its the Black Hall show. and i dont know what you all are talking about Cosby having trouble with Wartburg, my guess is Cosby wins by 20 at least. that is if the older of the vespie brothers' (#33) shot doesnt return to him. that is my opinion but noone can be overlooked.

darnit Rockwood, you were suppose to lose in the second round of districts, not the first.

we have some of the same problems with a "law enforcement officer" at CAK. only he tells our students to sit down. though i have never heard of a law that you are not allowed to stand or cheer or even boo at a game. i personally would rather play in a game with 10,000 people booing and swearing at me than in a silent game. alot of students no longer feel like they can have fun at basketball games. there is defidently a line that can be crossed when fans get too out of hand, but some authority figures at school dont know what the line is. Lets let the players play and the fans cheer.

well Cosby won it. they played a great game and they won. Hall play perticularly well and Black hit his usual 3's. It is pretty stinkin hard to stop him at Cosby. The Cosby vs CAK feud may not be over yet though. i hope to get a rematch in the region championship.

Its pretty close, i think CAK is right on the border of single A and AA, with the multiplyer.

Im hopeing that CAK will make it. I dont think theyve ever made it out of region before and this may be their last chance for a while as they will probubly move up to AA ball two years from now.

does anyone know about the district 3A games up at Cosby?

Helton is one of the best players ive played against. He doesnt force the ball like most stars on a team with little help, and the guy had 30 points. He also has probubly the best sportsmanship of anyone in tennessee. he never seems to get mad at the refs and complaments the other team constantly. Good luck to him and his greenback team in the region.

The loss of Alf takes away about 90% of the good-lookingness of this CAK team. Cooper is defidently a good ball player, probubly the best sophmore in east tennessee.

i went bowling the other day. i bowled three games and today my arm is pretty soar. i have learned new respect for bowlers everywhere.

Rockwood will win the championship against anyone they play but at least 10 points.

Black is a good player, but to say that he is more valuable to his team than Hosking is to CAK is incorrect. Without Hosking the warriors have noone to play point guard which means they never get the ball down the court against a team like Cosby. Plus i think they take the MVP off the fist place team, and since CAK and Cosby tied they both get it.

I agree with Cosbyeagle. Last time CAK played Cosby at Cosby they lost by 19. That was with the warriors playing a pretty good game and having good officiating.

Are you seriously saying that CAK lost to Rockwood because of the refs? Thats not what i was saying at all. Thats why i threw in the Rockwood vs Wartburg game cause i knew people would think i was complaining. CAK played awful at Rockwood mostly because of Rockwood's defense. I will make no excuses for that game.

Does anyone know how they do officiating in these tournaments? I just hope the short red haired scary looking guy doesnt ref. i saw him at the last two Rockwood games i went to (one at Rockwood vs CAK and one at Wartburg). he was about the worst varsity ref ive ever seen. good luck to everyone in the tournament.
