Riverdale goes for their 4th straight win tonight and the Florida sweep as they play for the Championship tonight. They have been nothing less than dominant down there and am lookin foward to seeing the new and improved Warriors in action. GO WARRIORS>

Riverdale put another smackdown performance yesterday at the hands of Tennessee foe Dickson Co. Riverdale wins its 3rd straight game by close to 20+ points and move on to tonights championship. The boys in cardinal and gold have found their stride just in time. Good luck tonight boys, bring back another championship.

Tullahoma is a good team. When they are on they remind you of Cookeville b/c they live and die with the long ball. Riverdale was fortunate to beat them at RHS on a last second 3pt buzzer beater by Andrew Barrett. Of course that was without Kit and our best player Scott, and Michael Young but no doubting they are a good team. There crowd is second to Siegel from what I have seen. The game was at Riverdale but it was a home court advantage as far as fans and crowd noise for Tullahoma even though they were the visitors. And I played there twice in my career and played there last year and I LOVE that gym and that student section and crowd is WILD. Oakland fans should make a trip to this game..... Its always a fun game in that gym.

What about them Warriors and my boy Scott Thomas. They are 2-0 in Flordia. Dating back to the last time they were in Florida and were in the Port St. Lucie Tournament 2 years ago in which they won. They have won their last 6 games in the sunshine state. They beat the previoulsy unbeaten and 8th ranked team in Flordia last night by 25 points. Scott Thomas led the way with 25, Tee Burnett 18, Kevin Smith 12 (all 3 willl be back next year). Riverdale plays Dickson Co. tonight at 8:30 in the semi final game.

Riverdale won again yesterday. They beat Fort Meyers (FLA.) 75-51. Fort Meyers is the 8th ranked team in Florida and were previously unbeaten and Riverdale laid the SPACK DOWN to them. Riverdale was led by MY BOY Scott Thomas with 25 points, Tee Burnett contributed 18, and Kevin Smith chipped in 12 (all these guys will be back next year ) They play in the semi-finals today at 8:30 Riverdale plays Dickson Co. in that semi-final matchup at 8:30 tonight. Two Tennessee teams running things in Florida. Go Warriors.

Riverdale is in it. I'm assuming Blackman would be too, but I'm not sure. I think Riverdale playes Owensberg, KY or somebody like that in one of their games but im not sure.

Someone needs to call cutter and tell him to read this, if this isnt inspiration i dont know what it is....... oh yea maybe nonsense too.......... AMEN. I'm about to be right there with you...... This has just been a crazy day on the T. First it was that Jimmy wasnt trying to dunk but even that isnt ANY WHERE near as bad as someone saying Jatoree is better than Cutter. That is a mismatch if i have ever seen one. Jatoree wouldnt be in Riverdale's top 8.

Jatoree - Cutter = MISMATCH........... Please dont tell me you think Jatoree Haynes is better than Tyler Cutter. I like Jatoree too, but we ALL know this isnt even close.

Your exactly right Tyler Cutter WILL NOT START Jan. 3rd against Oakland becuase Siegel doesnt even play that day, much less do they play Oakland. Shows how much you know. They play Friday Jan. 6th.

Me being a basketball player i can explain that. I dont know if they had timeouts or not but this is why you dont call a timeout in that situation. For one this is HS basketball not the NBA. When you call a timeout in the NBA you get the ball at Half court........ not so in high school. If its the NBA yea you would b/c it puts you alot closer the basket and alot closer to the 3 point line and it doesnt in HS. Also you wouldnt call one b/c that allows the defense to get matched up and defend. When Jimmy got the rebound with less than 5 seconds down by 3 he dribbled until someone picked him up and found Cutter wide open. Yes it was a wide open half court shot but it was still probably the best possible look for the particular situation.

I honestly feel like it was just TERRIBLE coaching. Surely he didnt tell them to just go for the 3. You dont go for the 3 in that case unless you HAVE to. Especially in the one and one situation, if it were 2 FT shots it MIGHT be a little different. They really only hit 2 three's if you take away Jimmy's desperation bank 3 pointer inside 10 seconds. Harris should have called the timeout 10 seconds after he saw what they were trying to do and ran a back screen or pick and roll to the basket and got the two and fouled and done like i said.
