  1. Gosh what an argument well i can suggest one of two things to put a hault to this cat fight. a Referee or maybe we could hire Dr. Phil
  2. GO RIVERDALE........... haha, yall are crazy kids.
  3. CB PACMAN JONES (On how good it felt to get in the end zone and see no flags) Oh it felt real good, finally getting in there and to see no flags. Then the block on the kick, I looked back to see that he didn’t throw a block on the kick. It felt good to know that I’m getting better every game and I finally got to show it. You don’t really get to show it when it gets called back, so it felt pretty good to get a touchdown that didn’t get called back. (On if he wanted to throw the ball into the stands) I was going to, but the net was there. I looked up and I saw the net, so I thought I better keep this ball for Coach Fisher, so I turned around and decided to keep it. I was going to throw it, but the net was up. (On why he gave the ball to Coach Fisher) Coach has been with me through my ups and downs when I was getting booed and all that, so I have a great deal of respect for Coach Fisher. He is not the average coach. I have played with a lot of coaches, some of the best and I haven’t seen a guy that takes the time with a player like Coach Fisher. It’s a whole other level. Mostly you get that treatment in college or high school where you can really relate to your coaches. Coach Fisher and I have a great bond, so I think he deserved it, because more of the pressure goes on him then on me for the things I have gone through, so for the most part I just thought he deserved it. (On it being a tough week for him personally) Besides when my grandma passed, this has probably been one of the toughest weeks. I lost one of my best friends. He got shot and killed. He actually got shot last Sunday, but they didn’t call to tell me. His funeral was Saturday so I had to be there for that. My aunt had an aneurysm so her funeral is Tuesday. I’ve been through it and I have a great group of support behind me, so I’ll be all right. For the most part, I’m just trying to stay strong for my family members because I know all of them are watching me. For the most part I’m just going to keep my prayers up and take it one day at a time. (On how how he’s playing better later in the season when most rookies drop off) I love competing. Anybody who loves competing can’t tell you that they hit a lapse in the twelfth game because their body was tired. If you compete, you are going to compete all the time. I’m really just now having fun. This is the fun part for me. The first couple of games was my learning. I had missed twenty-four practices, so this second half of the season has been pretty fun for me. I just wish the first half could have gone like the second half. (On how important it is for him to be the best returner in the league) It’s very important. Day one when I got here Coach Fisher and I talked and that is probably the main thing that we talked about, because he was a punt returner too. I know I can be the best returner next year if not this year. We have three of four more games and I still have a lot of room to do some damage. That’s a big thing for me to be in the top one or two in both kickoff and punt returns and hopefully I can go to Hawaii one day. (On if he has a name for his zigzag style run he does on returns) No, I just go with whatever I feel. It’s nothing that’s planned out. It’s just however I feel. Coach was kind of mad that I picked up that ball. He came to me and said, “as long as you do that you’ll be alright”. So for the most part you just have to do what you feel and not second-guess yourself. (On if he said anything to Jarrett Payton on his block) Oh yeah, that was the first person I went to. That was a great block. If you saw me when I went to the sideline, I went straight to him. I can see everything that is going on back there. I can see when someone missed their block and I can see when someone makes a great block. You know who else made a great block on that play was Brad Kassell. He made the key block, because it seemed like he didn’t think I wasn’t going to touch it and then I grabbed it. If you see the film, he started walking and then at the last second he turned around and literally knocked the dude to his feet. So between Brad and Payton, I give them the game ball for that touchdown
  4. I got a few post I'm going to make on this thread about Pacman Jones then I promise I will not post on the bball boards about him anymore. Its ok b/c we ALWAYS get on topic but 7 AAA posters are the most productive and regular and best posters on the T. There were some good things out there today. It is important to realize what happened to Pacman Jones this week. He lost his best friend, who was a victim of a violent crime. His aunt passed away two days later. I excused him on Friday. He was at a funeral Friday night and didn’t get back to our hotel until late last night. He was very tired, and for him to play the way he did today, and to make the decisions he made and to get the ball in the end zone shows me a lot of heart and a lot of character. - Jeff Fisher (on Pacman Jones) All he is doing is trying to help us win. He is very competitive and has improved week by week outside the cornerback position and he wants to be the best returner in the league. He thinks he can score every time he touches the ball. I think it is obvious he has the skills. - Jeff Fisher ** Come on guys. This kid is trying so hard. Yes he runs his mouth but he sure is trying hard and his work ethic is starting to pay off on the field.
  5. Riverdale played good again last night. They held Coffee Co. to only 25 points and won by 30. Scott Thomas led the way with 19 points for the second night in a row. Michael Young chipped in 13. Kevin Smith and Jesse Mayfield had dunks. Scott Thomas drained 5 three pointers.
  6. There's a hater in the in house if you see him point him out >>>>>>>> D2D PACMAN JONES........ who P> JONES
  7. I guess you didnt see my post on the 7 AAA thread. I didnt forget.
  8. Hahahahahah I LOVE IT. Everyone is SOOOOO LUCKY im not a plus member anymore becuase my boy just scored his first career TD BABY. Ha, there is no doubt he is the best in the game at the return game. Thats my boy. I'm so proud of him. This is just the first of many good things to come!
  9. Ok JJ Redick proved my point today. Duke is a great team with a bunch of good players but JJ has tremendous talent and he uses it. He had 41 points today and hit 9 3's. He was 9-16 beyond the arc. You see the team plays better around someone that is on. Someone HAS to rise above the rest and be the leader. This was against the #2 team in the nation and they beat them by 31 points. Thats what I'm saying about Scott. He has great ability and he should step up and shoot that ball and the team will follow his lead. If you have that ability you have to maximize it and by him doing that it would give his team the best chance to win.
  10. GO MTSU BIG BLUE.... Come on Keith. I thought you were telling me something about Syracuse not to long ago. Well shoot KY could have used Kieth today. Indiana KILLED them by 26. KY missed their first 20 3's and and finished 2-26........ YIKES
  11. Well i'm not bringin my like for Pacman on this thread or on the bball board b/c there are like 6 pages of my admiration for him on the NFL thread. I am entitled to my own opinion and have done so, so if you like me less b/c i like Pacman so be it but that is kinda sed.
  12. Yea but the deep shot and handles arent there atleast for a national powerhouse team but if that is the path he chooses best of luck to my main man.
  13. Well guys I didnt know this day would ever come but unfortunately....IT HAS! I didnt realize that a plus membership only lasted a year. It was a good run. I was very active in more threads than just the general ones. You can find my post in the NHL-Predators boards. The NFL-Tennessee Titans boards (Go Pacman). The Major League Baseball Boards, NCAA, NBA-Memphis Grizzlies. But at this time I would like to think one specific poster for allowing me the oppurtunity to experience the plus membership side of the T. Thank you and I will for ever be greatful for your act of kindness. My B-day is on the 12th if anyone feels kind..... haha im j/p..... Thanks again man. I enjoyed it
  14. Well I know he isnt the best in the South but all the guys named so far are like 6'7 or 6'8 or more. Riverdale's Kevin Smith... The guy on the right in my picture below has got MAD hops and anyone in 7 AAA can vouch for that. He also does alot more than just your standard slams too. Kevin Smith aka Showstopper
  15. Yea when Labrian Lyons was at Riverdale he was one of my best friends and he was the best player in the district. He committed to Lipscomb but as soon as he did he wish he had taken MTSU's offer. He got caught up in the whole starting his first year thing and he went there and well we all know what happened after that. Then Kenyanna Swader was rated the #1 player in the state and he had committed to go there and then i dont even know what happen to him. So there are 2 guys that were suppose to start the trend and didnt so someone needs to take the initiative.
  16. Yea me either but wouldnt that be nice to see quality players like Jimmy and Kieth go there. Hometown hereos and could help be responsible for a schools turn around. And their local popularity would put people in the seats. And I know with them going their you might would start to see some more area talent. Krystal Horton was just as big as Jimmy and Kieth and had offers from ALOT of places but she chose middle and has been first team all sunbelt ever since and has helped the team get the NCAA tournament the last two years and win. I just wish people would atleast consider it.
  17. That is not a quality post. Depth is key.
  18. I'm not sold on the fact that Warren Co. is that bad at all. I think this is a pretty good team this year and they WILL pull an upset. Maybe even in the tournament. I have seen them play twice and they have a good foundation. Brooks Majors is really good. Yes they are 3-0 but have played arguable the best the teams Siegel, Cookeville, and Riverdale. Even took Cookeville to over time. This is one of those teams that never has anything to lose and are expected to lose almost every game they play but im tellin you they will play a role in the outcome of this district.
  19. I will side with the majority on this one. Oakland was a much better team last year. Chaisson is phenomanol. Best Guard there in a while, he is a WHOLE lot better than Nick Watson was. Jaffarious is a good player two, a good side kick player. Devin was a great player but he just choked in the CLUTCH. AD might have been the best on ball defender i have ever seen. And wether Matt was on or off and wether anyone liked him he was still the leader of the team. They have got off to a good start but time will show their flaws.
  20. I think Keith is GREAT high school bball player. But only being 6'8 playing in the post at a national powerhouse and being that skinny. I just dont see it working out. I think he would be a great fit at MTSU. We need more hometown guys and that Siegel Nation would sure look good in Blue.
  21. yes that is very creative............ I'm glad someone else one here is making some original signatures other than myself. I have so many to debut throughout this season. Me and my bro are pretty good on the comp and I will be posting me more good one's througout the season. Atleast no one has hated on it and says it has Mario graphics or wutever that kid was saying.
  22. Thanks for the score. Pretty convincing win.
  23. Yes i know that if if's and but's were candy and nuts we'd all have a marry christman but here is an interesting thought. Let's say EJ hits the second free throw and RHS wins and on Friday Jimmy's shot misses. Here would be the standings. Cookeville 3-0 Oakland 3-0 Riverdale 2-1 Lebanon 2-1 Blackman 1-2 Siegel 1-2 White Co. 0-3 Warren Co. 0-3 Wow, but I guess that what makes Siegel Siegel.......... They WIN.
