all i know is shadrake did not play the second half. he wasn't even in uniform. i thought maybe he got hurt. I have no idea about the crouch deal. He played the entire game. maybe something happened after the game but i don't know.

I was thrilled when I heard that Riverdale lost but you know what I did when you and all those other riverdale posters came on here and made excuses for losing to Mcallie and how you really one the game and they got lucky? I shut my mouth and didn't say a word. You come on here with your arrogant comments about how smyrna is overrated because they lost ONE game to the defending state champs.

All in all it was a tremendous game (the officiating could've been better) and great defense by both teams. Ravenwood wore smyrna out in the end and pulled out the win. Good job Raptors and congrats to both teams for a hard fought game and good luck to both teams next week. I'm not sure who Ravenwood but I feel sorry for siegel. yikes! I know that those smyrna players are not happy right now and will without a doubt take it out on siegel next week. good luck with that.

I am facing it. They beat us fair and square. Sure it stinks that we lost but, I'm not crying about it. I'm just giving facts about the game. Ravenwood was the better team tonight. I'm not denying that.

also the refs were RIDICULOUS both ways in the first half. if you were there, you would know what i'm talking about. I think the game went 2 straight minutes of just penalties being called on Smyrna and a couple questionable calls against Ravenwood.

For the record, I'm not making excuses because I don't wanna take anything away from a good Ravenwood team. But, it doesn't help when 1 of your 2 star running backs can't play which was Antoine Hendricks, your star linebacker (Reuben Shadrake) doesn't play the entire second half while Ravenwood absolutely wore their D out, and I have to give it up for the wind factor. completely kept sonny gray from getting the ball to rod wilks. I mean that wind knocked that ball down good and caused 2 ravenwood ints.

Lol yea they did. Thank god for that offense. We couldn't stop the run all night! I was utterly shocked that Blackman was capable of that. Goes to show you can't underestimate ANYBODY. Great game Blackman you should hold your heads up high. Smyrna, you need to pull it together because the next game against Ravenwood won't be easy. I have faith that our coaches will toughen that D up by next week. This is definitely a disappointing win if I've ever heard one. But, a win is a win. Good luck to both teams next week.

This is one of the most important games for both of these teams this season. Both are competing for the last 2 playoff spots in the region (Smyrna and Riverdale are locks) along with Lebanon and Lavergne. Should be a great game. I think Oakland rides that momentum they've got going this season, but WC wouldn't surprise me a bit.

You just don't understand how talented Smyrna is. You're in for a big surprise come friday when Smyrna lays it on ya. They'll score more than they did last year. At least 60 points this year, at least. It really won't matter how much CC scores because it won't be within 40 points of Smyrna.

Yea. Region 4's Smyrna, Riverdale, Wilson Central, and Lavergne. They were all top 10 teams except for Lavergne. I know Smyrna's record didn't show it but if you look at who they had to play last year...... yikes! As for Lavergne they were a top 20 team last year after competing so well against Smyrna and Riverdale.
