Coffee & Tullahoma are leading the district right now. I think that yall are taking a little early about who is going to win out. Also I say that Coffee County losese tonight against Lawrence County. I kow that is a long shot but I really think that it will happen. I predict that Tullahoma wins the season and that is where that tournment will be played.

lawrence County will be the team that makes it out of Pool B, Also the second best team in that bracket is Lewis County. I haven't seen Adamsville play but I have seen Lawrence County play at the preseason scrimmages at Loretto and they looked pretty good. Also they have a two games on Thursday.

Hey GCHS05. Your right last time Tyler only had 22pts. That is good. but isn't he supposed to be the best player in the State. It seems like that # would atleast be in the 30's. You see crappy players come out on some nights and put up 15-18 pts and you probabaly never even heard of them. Tyler is really good and also is very smart at basketball. Also against LC i bet that the Bobcats shots 70%. That is no joke. When a team of that caliber shoots that good they aren't going to get beat. The way they played against LC they would beat any team in the state. They are a good team and they had an extremely good night.

I was just sitting here at my comp. and I started wondering about who was leading the district and where everyone stands. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I hope that yall don't mind if I put my input in on this. I am really not impressed with Price. Also I am not a hater. Price can stroke. ok, good for him. There are alot of ppl in the highschool game that can stroke. Price can't play D. There are alot of ppl in highschool that can stroke and play D. ok, there points probably aren't the best but that is because they focus on other things then just shooting. Price don't rebound either. I mean he's 6'7 and can't rebound, that sounds like desire to me. I mean how bad does he really want it. I understand that he is the future of baseball and can flat out pitch, so why is he playing basketball if he is so precious to Baseball. I have seen Price held under 10 pts. and guarded by a man that barely stood 6' tall. Wow, what a player. Price can shoot I am not taking that away from him but when it come to the needy-greedy Price in my opinion Will never make the big plays. So is he really all the great. Go shoot those 3's buddy. I really hope that you make them all.

I think that Ashton White had a 3 toward the beginning of the game. Actually I am almost positive. It didn't show him hitting one though?

What were the technical fouls for. I saw a kid from Lawrence County the other night get a technical for throwing the ball off another player when he was trying to throw it in. It may be one of the worst calls that I have ever seen.

Lawrence County has a very good freshmen squad. They have played 4 games strictly Freshmen and are 4-0. They have a very quick freshmen team and lots of height. They have 3 post, one standing at 6'5 and the other at 6'3, and 6'2. All three being very strong down low. They have 5 guards that are all outstanding players. They run the court very well and see the court very well. I know that they played Tullahoma freshmen team last week and put a pretty good whoopin on them. They have alot of room for improvement and I am not saying that they are all going to sign with major D-1 schools. They have lots of talent and in a few years, if this team will stick together they will have a good chance of winning some games. They have good leaders in front of them and will have the fan support they will need when they get there. Right now though, they have to work hard and stay in the gym if they want to have a bright future in b-ball. Good-Luck Wildcats

Desmond Mcguire is an outstanding Point Guard. He is very quick and can drive to the basket verywell. Des does not have the 3pt. shot that he needs but has plenty of time to develop that. Des is a tremendous athlete and a great friend. I know that I may be alittle bias on my opinion about Des but if you don't believe me just come watch. He is having an all-region season and maybe an all-state season. He put up 34pts against the Franklin County Rebels on friday night and has had outstanding games before. Buzz Peterson came to Lawrence County when they played Giles and rumor is that he was very impressed in Desmond's performance. I think out of highschool Des will sign with a smaller school on the Level of D2. After a couple of years I believe that Des will have the oppurtunity to play at the D1 level. Like I said. Des is a Tremendous athlete and leaves it all on the court everynight. He is a very coachable player and a good guy.

Actually Peterson was at the game. I know this because he was charged to come in. Just thought that I would add this.
