  1. Unfortunately, I see a Schaeffer transfer coming quickly. I hate it, because he is such a good QB and athelete, but I am 100% behind whoever can lead our program to the most wins these next 4 years. Tennessee has a chance to do some very special things these next 4 years, because think about it, our window of opportunity is just getting bigger, because of how young our team is. UGA- After this season, the decline will begin. UF- Until they get a coach, the decline will keep getting steeper. Auburn- loses everything after this year. Plus, we have an early Top-10 recruiting class, ranked by Unapproved Website.

As for the Auburn rematch, I completely agree with you, Ainge will bring his all, and the defense WILL BE READY. I think everyone in the country was caught by surprise by this Auburn team, and especially the Vols.

News Flash: From my own memory, this is the first time since 1998 that we have beaten UGA, UF , and BAMA in the same season... and we ALL know what happened in 1998. Before that, it was during the Johnny Majors era, and pre-Spurrier.

  2. Since you K-town boys don't know your Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association Bowl Games (TSSAA) I ,in Middle Tennessee, will explain this simple thing to you, or in your language "ya'll" or "youins" (pronounced YOU-ens).

The Clinic Bowl is played between Division 2 teams, while the Blue Cross Bowl is played between Division 1 teams. If you do not know which you are in then ask your A.D. or Athletic Director as we call them. Several years ago, all games were called the Clinic Bowl and were played at that smart school Vanderbilt. But seriously, how did you miss that simple fact?

Hey buddy, you take all of your little smart*** talk and shove it right up your ***. I am proud of where I'm from, how I talk, the fact that anybody out of the south can't understand what I'm saying, and of course, the fact that I can add double my counties IQ and it's probably less than any other states. I love bein a redneck baby... GO VOLS, and GO TORNADOES!

  3. I bleed orange, I have not missed a home game since I was 7, I almost cry whenever I see the pride of the southland forming the T. Ask anyone at my school who is the biggest UT fan, and they will tell you. I live and die with Tennessee, through the up's and down's. I can't stand folks to talk about my school, my state, my team, my fight song... you get the point.

Hello, I realize you can have your own team, but talk about them, and don't worry about us...

P.S. to the bama fans out there ...

AROUND THE BOWL, DOWN THE HOLE, ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

    What about them Vols?

  4. Dude, I may be the worse singer ever, but Rocky Top is the best song in the land, and I belt it out at the top of my lungs, and start dancin and the whole 9 yards everytime it is played. Where else can you find 100000+ grown people singin the same song with no reserves?

BTW, Rocky Top count is a good way to tell if Tennessee wins or loses the game.

    UF- 47 times

    Bama-34

    Auburn- 17

  5. Great football game, even with the poor officiating. Alcoa came out fired up, but after they went up, settled down and almost played in slow motion. Several bad calls by the officials did not end up hurting the Tornadoes. And By the way Ron, the game was shown all over blount county and east tennessee.

  6. Another great breakdown by my good pal Tom... Like you, I couldnt believe the USC thing, until I actually saw the hand-written letter. First of all, Alcoa's defense is to athletic to be taken down by the wing t. Second of all, Duck will have 0 problems about running the ball right down Webb's throat. I tell you what, I'll be surprised if Joei throws for 10 times.

  7. Just to help you out pal, its the blue cross, and the clinic bowl. Here's a quote from TSSAA.com

Teams in the semi-final games will receive additional information, but it will contain material concerning the Clinic Bowl or BlueCross Bowl so that a school may prepare ahead of time for the Clinic Bowl or BlueCross Bowl week, administrators and athletic directors' meeting, press conference, television broadcast information and procedures, tickets, etc.

Anyway, I wish Lipscomb the greatest of luck, because personally, I don't even see you getting to the Semi-final game. If you luck up though and get there, we'll be waiting on you.

  8. Anyway, back to football. I know that the football team has been working hard to take not of every time someone tells them that they can't win the clinic. This is a different Alcoa team, in my opinion, than ones of years past. THis is a very close, hardworking team, that has great chemistry and good discipline. That is why I think that they can win the Clinic.

  9. Buddy, that is a little across the line. Where me and AlcoaBoi come from, you just don't talk about other people's mama's. I hope we see you at the Lipscomb game, and then I'll get to beat your #$%, while our team is beatin the $%#* of yours.

  10. Also if those un-sung hero’s on the front line who have done an outstanding thus far have an off game,

Just wanted to dish out some kudos to the unsung heroes : Martin White, Colton Reid, Josiah Standridge, Jacob Lequire, and Drew Miller.

  11. We are killing teams with major starters not even playing. ex. running back, safety, cornerback just to name a few.

Well buddy, what's the difference in what your doing and what we are doing. I believe, since the Maryville game, and excluding the Willie B game, that our starters have been up at least 21 points by the end of the first quarter, but Coach Reid just doesn't take them out yet. What you said just doesn't provide a lot of insight on your team's ability. As fast and strong as Lipscomb may be, I don't think that they can stack up to Alcoa in those categories. If they win the game, it will be because of football mechanics.

  12. I think alcoa wins this one by at least 28. Don't get me wrong though Webb has some players such as there 1000 yard rusher Ryan Walker. A.J Kirby is not hat bad either and Tyler Clendenen can return some kicks but there just isn't enough there to beat us. As long as were stop Webb on the trap we will win big.

    Prediction Alcoa 49

    Webb 21

  13. After a self-mandated 2 month break from Coacht after the disappointing loss to Maryville, I am happy to be back on Coacht.

Did it take two months to eat all that Crow TnVols23?

Also, If Bart returns to Alcoa will you take back all that verbal abuse you lambasted him with and publicly declare him the greatest linebacker ever at AHS?

I don't think that he is the greatest linebacker ever. I don't think that he will even play linebacker anymore at Alcoa. And to answer your question, I stand by, and believe everything I said while he was at Willie B.

Meanwhile, I dont think that Alcoa is one-dimensional at all. I stayed w/ Colton at Coach Reids last night, and they were telling me how Joei has been visited by the QB coaches out of UGA and Ohio State. That is not too one-dimensional to me. We have an extremely balanced offense if you actually look at the stats, it just seems like we give it to DUck so often, because he is dominant

  14. I think that Tennessee has a very good chance to go to a BCS bowl. With an apparent loss from Miami tonight, and either Virginia or FSU going down this week, Tennessee has a great chance to make it into the top 7 before the SEC champ, providing we make it there. With a SEC CHamp win, we will obviously be a lock for a BCS bowl, but another perspective is the fact that we might be able to get an at-large bid if we perform strongly the rest of the year.

  15. Another note on Alcoa football:

Bart Hicks did make an appearance at our high school today, much to the dismay of practically everyone I think, especially the 'team leaders', but it remains to be seen whether or not he'll be playing any at Alcoa. I don't blame him, because if I had left for WB and they ended up to be that bad, I would leave too.

  16. After a self-mandated 2 month break from Coacht after the disappointing loss to Maryville, I am happy to be back on Coacht. There has obviously been a lot I have missed. But, to the main point, how do you think the mighty Alcoa Tornadoes will fare in 2-A chase for the state championship? After dismantling their 'toughest region contender' as quoted in the PrepXtra, Rockwood, and with the help with a somewhat easy second half of football, I believe that Alcoa is going to have a easy flight into the #1 seed of the 2A playoffs. I also believe that this will be their year to get to the state championship game, for the first time since the Coach Meadows, former Alcoa, soon to be former WB coach, era. Depending on who they play in the title game, I believe that we have a very good chance to take home the hardware this year.... All other opinions are encouraged.
