Not what I heard. She did apply and not given job. Whether she did or not, she will do a good job.
Or when she expressed interest in the Job, but she was told the job was already filled. Because this all happened really fast.

No, Cody McMurtry took the job

I think this is a smart hire for the time that THS is in. McMurty is not "just a middle school coach" as was suggested in other threads. He has experience at levels higher than high school and he truly has an interest in the kids of Tullahoma.
Yeah I agree, Plus he already knows most of the kids

Cody McMurtry has been hired as Tullahoma head coach. Amy Josephson never applied for the job. Cody was their 1st choice.

Would still surprise me that they put any emphasis at all on it even though Olive is there. If it is now a priority, then go get a more proven coach.
Even when he was coaching football he was at every home soccer game. That should tell you something.

Money talks I suppose
Yes, that is why basic problems in our country can't get solved
54 minutes ago, attila said:True, but she won't have to deal with all the assistant coaches at MC any more because at Tullahoma girls basketball is maybe the 5th most important sport in the school, and that's a big maybe!
That has changed under John Olive, He very hands on and is at every game in every sport. Unlike Jerry Mathis

If she leaves to go to Tullahoma, that should tell you a lot about MC. Leaving for a perennially weak program that is always at the bottom of their district to get out of MC.
Tullahoma pays more alot more

I hear MC has a decent younger group coming up. Seen the bench play and they have potential too, but not sure if they have the experience to make a great run next year and think the majority of them will be seniors. 1 of them just goes wide open every time she gets the ball. Doesn't seem to be interested in team ball. Whoever is coaching will have some rebuilding to do and MC people aren't very patient. Seems to be a lot of coaching in the stands at every game I been to.
Coaching from stands is at every school in every sport

Why would the district MVP be from a losing team? Did she win district tourney MVP? That is not a great record

We have heard about the Duncan girl up here and I have seen her play before but she was at coffee county middle at the time so has been a couple years. Good ball player how did she end up in Tullahoma and not Murfreesboro?
Is Duncan why Tullahoma keeps trying to hire Murfreesboro coaches?
Riverdale was recruiting her in the fall, but her parents didn’t have the money to make the move to the boro. I think they live in between tullahoma and Manchester.
And yes Riverdale did try to recruit her, except they are not as coy about as shelbyville was. Nor do they the resources to help families move either.

Looking at Tullahoma schedule they beat SHS Lawrence and LC this past season. But correct they did lose to both the other teams by large margins. That would be correct it would be more lateral move rather than a step up.
They're all freshman and sophomores. Sophomore Julia Duncan was the district 8 MVP

I'm just saying, just because eagleville's season has ended doesn't mean Moore County's has. FYI, that coach is still coaching and those girls are still playing. Quit trying to create a rift when you have no idea what you are talking about. According to her, she hasn't even applied for Tullahoma job. It's not a fact until it happens, so stop reporting false news.
Coach Josephson has the 1st refusal than its goes to Cody McMurtry the coach at West middle. But nothing won't be official til April.
-
I heard the coach at West Middle would be Tullahoma's new coach. If the Moore Co coach turns them down.

Is it at motlow or in lynchburg

Tullahoma 59-56 Lawrence Co Final
-
Well both Their seasons officially ended today

You absolutely can. You just can't be moving forward AT THE SNAP.
Think of a running back who's standing next to the QB. He approaches the line, then motions to the slot receiver. He moves forward first.
I Gottah,
I just found the video

Let me lay it out for you. One player may be in motion at the snap, so long as it is not toward the opponents goal line (read - line of scrimmage). Key modifier in this rule is AT THE SNAP. He was in motion, but not towards the line at the snap. You clearly do not know the NFHS rules ... maybe you are citing NFL or NCAA rules, but you're wrong on this one.
But you cant go forward or make a forward body motion when you are in motion
-
Cant believe no one caught this. Lexington beat Kirby 10-0. So what happened to the 9 goal mercy rule. Whoever the official was for this game should be punished. It also is a same that both coaches forgot the mercy rule too.

That sheriff is a JOKE, way more than anyone else up there. He loves the spotlight and to hear himself talk. He talks about cases even before he has an ounce of evidence. I wouldn't believe a word that idiot says. It sounds like those 2 boys were suspended for that just as I had heard that Coach Brewer was suspended because he saw kids down there the day before and he didn't say anything. The coach shouldn't be blamed when those kids were their in that building without permission, or at least that was what I have heard.
FYI, Roger Goddell's wife was caught defending her husband i assume you are doing to same thing

Totally agree and wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be a hoax in an effort to get rid of the coach and the principal. They have been after the director up there for over a year. From what I have seen some of the people and board up there would go to no end to get rid of them, even this is not past some of them.
Seriously A Hoax, The Kids shot video of it. If the Grundy Co Sheriffs Department has that video these boys just ruined their own lives. And You Sir are a terrible human being.
"Yeah, Johnny we are trying to get people fired. So Me and 4 other of your friends are going to put a Broom handle up your Butt" Those kids deserve to be put away
New Tullahoma Coach, Moore Co fans will be happy

No you shop the U12 & U13 AAU leagues for all the good players. Than give fathers jobs and move them into that area. That is how you built a program in 80's, 90's and early 00's.
