Can anyone give me any information about the drive to Cloudland? Is it tough? I have never been there! TIA knightfan

JFWA had to cancel games with CC as well, we also had to cancel...Mt. Pisgah, and Tri-Cities! TSSAA wouldn't let us play them! It really knocked a hole in our schedule. By the time we were notified everyone had a full schedule with the exception of the other schools who had them scheduled, too and we picked up a few of them. Is there a limit to how many games you can play in a season? How do tournaments figure in to the total?...because I think we should have had more games too! kf

Coach Logan....Just a little bit! LOL I'm sure you know that CAK graciously sent a letter to the Academy and I was very impressed. I reiterate...CAK has a great team, great cheerleaders, a beautiful campus, and we were treated GREAT by the staff, etc. I just hope the JFWA fans don't act up when you all come up here...they probably won't as there aren't enough students to make a good "crowd!" But then again, with kids anything is possible. Will you be at the game? kf

Trashtalking and making fun of someone is two different things. All athletes and students trash talk it's a part of sports. Making fun of another human being is out of line. Students should always put their self in the other person's shoes. Karma is a very real thing! kf

JFWA uses LMU's arena for games. However, there is a scheduling conflict with JFWA & LMU on the 12th so that game has been scheduled in Mars Gymnasium. kf

I didn't single out an innocent victim. It's really not that big of a deal...games are great when the crowd is really in to it, it just ruins it for everyone when some start crossing the line. We took our share of name calling & cursing and I'm sure your team did, too. Sports is about kids, winning, losing, competing, and sportsmanship. Somewhere in the game last night some lost sight of what it's really all about. I sat within a few feet of ALL the guilty parties and I heard and saw everything that was said...As for seeing someone hit me...how do you know who I am? Kids are kids and I don't put anything past anyone of them...yours or ours. You played a great game and I am sorry that it didn't leave a positive feeling for either side. We were unaware of any injuries to your team and suffered a few of our own but I don't think either team was intentionally trying to hurt someone. Best of luck on the rest of your season and we look forward to hosting you on January 12th! kf

I think both teams got away with a few fouls but I wouldn't classify either as "dirty." The refs let them play ball and called a fair game. However, I can't believe that the fans didn't get called down! RUDE..RUDE..and very disrespectful, student section. The young man in the Santa suit on the front row..looked me right in the eye and hit me with something. I am an adult and was watching the game in silence. I plan to write a letter to the school's administration. Finally a police officer stepped in and asked a group to stop trying to antagonize an argument. However, overall...the school has a beautiful campus, the staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the game. Good Luck in the future.
