Everyone knew that Coach Buckner would have that team going in the right direction after a few years.. I bet this is one of the coaches that coach Pharr does not want to see come tournament time. This should be a good game

You don't listen to what people say at all. He said coach Pharr was not having an 'off' year at all. The talent is down but they are still doing good. Therefore, it is quite a good year that they are looking to be in regions yet again.

If fans are out of line they should receive their criticism as well. A couple of years ago I was very critical of the behavior exhibited by some SD fans when they were playing Farragut in the 4AAA championship game. At that time my comments were directed squarely at the fans. The SD players stayed above all that and exhibited class on the field that night. Heckling by fans is a part of baseball, although I think it should be limited at the high school level. I can tell you that rock shaking and chants is not tolerated at the college level. It's an invitation to experience a couple of high and tight fastballs. Once again, there's nothing wrong with enthusiasm. But there's a right way and a wrong way. you are correct, Off topic turn back the clock statement, but SD fans got enough that night that they showed their normal exceptional class by getting run ruled again. If you remember, what they were yelling were the two 'smartest' things they possibly could. "Kyle you will never do anything past high school" (made a million bucks) and "Tony, you are only playing because of your dad" (one of the sec's better hitters as a freshman). I was even nice enough to give one of the parents a game ball after the game. class does matter and the fish stinks from the head down... parents must show this in order for their children to follow the right footsteps For the subject of cheering in the dugout.... who cares if they have shakers in the dugout. Granted, it may be a little too much, but dont worry about it. It has nothing to do with the class of the team or parents. Coach Buckner has more class than most coaches in Tennessee

Bored in class, i decide that that checking on my old boys would be a great idea. Seeing that rob is back up to normal (or better), I started looking around and some other teams to see how tennessee baseball is holding up... and then I saw this post... Farragut 03 and 04 could handle some business and that is a very bold statement you had. 03 could still field a team of college starters... cody brown, tony delmonico, scott dean, micheal mckenry, harrison eldridge, kyle waldrop, jimmy kelly, craig cobb, drew reagan, and rob catapano are all STARTING at at major college programs (minus kyle because he kinda skipped that). So calling out a team that you know nothing about is probably not a good start... econ stinks

west tn sure has has some of that farragut team the last two years.... houston flopped many times against them....

I know my team mates and i focused on winning 2 years straight and we had a great time doing it....

The chanting didnt work out too well tonight.... maybe it tired them out early in the game which allowed farragut to come back.....
