Should be a close one. I expect MP to win 22-20 in a nailbiter.

Fayetteville by as many as they want. I would expect the starters to be done by halftime at the latest.

Richland had 3-4 major miscues/bad breaks all in a row otherwise they would have picked up the victory.

Great effort by both teams and you just wonder how long this one will sting for the people here in Lynnville.

Looks like Giles is about a 17-point favorite now. Loudon is no slouch so the Bobcats will need to play tough to have a chance.

I don’t think that is correct. The referee told Richland’s coach it was because Coach Daniel stayed down close to the goal line and was not in the coaches box. I could be wrong, but that is what was told the richland coach.

They had holding penalties because they held. I know it sucks to lose, but don’t embarrass yourself. 16 definitely stepped out. Pretty obvious if you were on the actual side of the field the play happened.

Pretty wild that the Red Bank coaches just gave up and told them to run the clock in the second half despite only being down 30-0.

This Red Bank team was undefeated? Seriously?

About as lackluster and undisciplined as I have ever seen a team look. They were shook from the very first drive of the game and did not even remotely threaten to score.

Hats off to the Tigers. Going to be awfully tough to beat in 1A postseason.

Well, that is a bit disingenuous. It was a 54 yarder, not 60+. Has Grissom ever made a FG of that length even in practice?

You never put that on the line in one play.  A game?  Arguable.  A playoff berth?  Absolutely not. 

And this coach is the worst 1 play caller in the history of awful 1 play callers.   I wouldn't have trusted him to call the right play if the entire Richland team had been halfway back to Lynnville.   

Disgraceful ending.  You have an all world kicker.  But instead of a guaranteed tie, you have the freshman roll to his right until he was surrounded and out of field.

Just worse than incompetent.

And the kicker? You had him try a 60 yarder in the first half. It's almost like Coach Eli is trolling the entire fan base at this point.  

The sequence before halftime was the epitome of Coach Eli's buffoonery.  Kids trying to get a play off with less than 10 seconds to go in the half and no timeouts.  And Coach Eli is yelling, "WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!"  My heart hurts for those kids.  It's so unfair. 

Clean out Coach Elis office tonight.  I can't take it anymore.  

I don’t think the kick attempt was as bad since the touchback rule would be in effect if he was short.

however, there is no way you call a pass play when you had like 300 yards rushing tonight and had less than 10% of your carries get less than 3 yards. I’m certain Swift or Bell or Davis get into the end zone if they hand it off.

Wow. Rockets go for 2 and the raiders defense holds as the pass goes through the outstretched arms of the receiver and the Raiders escape with a 42-41 win.

Workman scores his 4th TD of the night and raiders lead 42-35 under 5 to play.
