Johnny Lee is a great player. His Coach probably cost him the MVP by tell him to hold the ball for 15 minutes during the first half of the LA game. He didn't get to display his talents, anyone can stand and hold the ball.

All the true basketball fans at Portland would like to have seen a shot clock the other night when MLK held the ball for a full two quarters. Unreal, LA came to Portland to play basketball not stand and look at MLK players for 16 minutes.

Good Win Clay Co. We are proud of you. You have a very talented team, also a very good Coach. He is one of the nicest coaches I have ever seen sitting on the visiting team bench. You would be proud of him, if you could re-run time out of all coaches. Good Luck in the region

York has a lot of talent. The Coach should share at 70% of the responsiblity. He's the head of the team. Just as man is the head of the household and is resposible for his family. The coach is the head of his team and he takes on this responsibility for his players when he becomes the coach. Players have to accountable for their action but their coachs has to lay the ground work, teach them the fundamentals etc. Let's not put these players down. The Coach and team need to work together.

I doubt that anyone from 7AA will go very far in the region. Upperman is good but they are not that much better than 2,3, or 4 seed. Livingston beat them by 11 at LA. Upperman beat LA at Baxter but we had Brad West and Brian Colson out with injuries. Add the 29 points Brad West scored against them at home and LA would have won. Upperman has had injuries this yr also. All Upperman players are back They will probably go farther in Region than others.

Upperman does have a good team but remember they have been beaten. LA beat them 11 points. Everyone was playing too. LA beat them all night long. Would like to have seen a rematch. La had an off night the night they played Smith Co. However Smith County will give them a challenge.

Upperman will beat Smith County by 10+. Smith County has a well coached team. They had a great game against LA. LA did not play as they are capable of playing, cold shooting night, not as good defense as they usually play. Don't count them out yet. Good Luck Smith Co hope you win but your work is cut out for you.

Livingston's defense is strong. They played real good team ball against Jackson County for four quarters. LA has a very unselfish team. We are proud of them, their sportsmanship, their poise and the way they play together as a team. Coach McCoin is doing a great job. After all they are under his leadership. He is resposible for their action. Good Luck, Wildcats. We are looking forward to Tuesday Nights game.

LA played a real good game.. It was a good game. Take nothing away from Jackson Co, they played good too. La is playing good team ball right now. What the status of Brad West's ankle. Way to go Hogeye.

Brad is a Junior. All La players are Juniors and Soph Should be strong next year,

Brad West has really come on this season. Scored 30 against Upperman, 16 against York, 29 against Pickett Co. 25 against Clay Co, 20 against Harriman, 21 against Jackson Co. Wildcats are playing great together as a team.

Livingston Academy won over Pickett Co in a solid victory. Brad West was on fire with 29 points. The whole team played super. Coach McCoin did a great job preparing his boys for tonight's game. Great Win. Go Wildcats.
