I believe wrestling helps football skills and football helps wrestling skills. they compliment eachother a lot. i played football up to sophomore year at powerhouse maryville and i know both sports helped me get better at the other. i know landon hall maryville high school outside linebacker 2005 (defensive player of the state football game) and 2005 (runner up in tssaa state wrestling) would agree.
yes seymour was a young talented team last year. they should be right up there too. kingston im thinking lost quite a bit, but nothing big was expected out of them last year and look what happened at state individual.
also our 152 ran out of blood time and had to give up six points, and our 215 ran out of injury time giving up 6 points. Against franklin 145 was injured while winning and gave up 6, and our 215 didnt wrestle.
