I rescind my request for a cradle clinic. I forgot we have enough hot air in our wrestling room from the heaters you may overload us. . And now you know more than the ref on the mat. I think the "kid on the mat" does know a little about the cradle. He will be fine. Since "one of the famous ones" Coach Dunning and Simpson have worked with him for years on just that move. But I am sure the great Pipe would be a better Coach than those two. Yeah remind me where it is you Coach? Never mind I remember ...no where !!!. Funny the ref told me today that he thought Mayo was so gassed that he actually squeezed so hard he lifted the kids shoulder of the mat. If he would have eased his grip a ;ittle it would have been 6 But I would like to thank you for being such a genius....maybe you can drop by Ryan and teach our 160 how to cradle..he has such a bad cradle...please come show us how it is done. AS for Mr Morales he did not slam that kid...if the kid was sooo injured how did he finish so strong? I think he knew his tail was about to be pinned....

If you don't have a dog in this fight how why would you have a video of it? If you are any fan of this sport I ask you to refer to last years duals finals whne my son wrestled up to 171 and goter done the same way I feel he goter done last night. So you can praise his defense but he did get cradled three times. yes he was coached to suck the mat. and it worked. As for MAtt sorry the kid has a concussion but he sure wrestled like he was fine... Mrs Irishdad feels that you are full of horse manure to even suggest that Tyler did not get the job done.

This was probably as good as the duals final last year. Great crowd, great action!! I personally felt that some of the calls favored MBA. But I may be prejudiced. Heck aren't I supposed to be. As My Beloved Irish move to State God Bless you all. Matt Morales @140 did not slam Hall. He was in control and neither wreslter ever left their feet. He was in a pin situation. I think he was smart enought o act injured to avoind the pin. Why? because he came back and fought harder than before. Hats off to Turk fought a good fight. I wish him a speedy recovery Riley was a beast giving up about 20 lbs and a foot in height he gave Jacques all he wanted and then some. heckuva a job, Bo Yeager coming in at 19 did his job. thanks The WHITT did his job. And he is not Superman he would not pin everyone thru 60. Whitt is without a doubt the most talented wrestler in TN at this time. I am gled we have him. he is also a great team player always does what he is ask. Charlie Oddo did his job. Now to the last match of the Night. Tyler was more jacked than I have ever seen him. He dominated the mat. My opinion is that his cradle in the first was a pin. I have looked athe film three ways from Sunday and it looks like a pin. In the second cradle Tate laid flat for about 10 seconds and In my opinion was pinned again. no call. Such is the life a kid who cradles. I also know that Frank coached this kid to suck the mat and just not get pinned. Good coaching. To my friend Frank Simpson, nice job, the whole Matt Bubis thing was impressive. you boys were well prepared and wrestled very well. To the crowd darn fine job on both sides, loud but not rude. Overall you should not let a match some down to having your last wrestler decide the fate. Particularly when in needs to be a pin. We are better than we wrestled tonight. Although I think a pin was accomplished twice at 160 such is this sport. I do think that Jim is a good ref. I do think it was good to have two refs on the mat. No two different weight classes Mayo is 160 Turk is 171. He will be battling Aaron Bateman again. I believe it will be a brawl.

It was my understanding from Matt and his Coach that a concussion would keep him out for the rest of the season. But I am the Irishdad maybe a MBA dad could clear this up.

My guess would have The WHITT @ 119..... Mayo has not wrestled Shillinglaw but I would give Mayo the advantage (strong personal favorite). We will take 130 with Oddo. I also think Morlaes will win he is looking very strong. the middle wights will be competitive and should decide the match. And it will come down to pin points. 275 will be dempsey he is a very talented freshman who I like alot..could be his night. It appears that it we be a heckuva match and I a looking forward to it. we do have the Big Red scheduled three matches in a row....it is good to wrestle hard in preparaion for state...I cannot comment further than that....as always I have the greatest respect for the Coaches Atheletes and Parents from MBA and I wish them good luck when we meet ..Becuz my Irish will be locked and cocked and ready to rck......look for a great battle at 71 Bateman and Turks should be a good one.. ...I do believe that they all will be a fight but 71 should be a fight !!!!!!!

I was pretty quiet for the tournament. Could it be that you don't know what you are talking about? Were you there? Do you even know me? The Markings would probably not be alllowed to call JV matches in Nashville or Chattanooga. This is a widely held opinion by anyone who does not ride the purple wave, & if you are stupid enough to try and put them in the class with the Simpsons, Tim Able and the other grat refs in Nashville then you deserve them. As for home cooking at CBHS it ain't just the chicken on the George Foreman. Any way you slice it when a ref turns and speaks to the crowd making jokes and ebing soo darn cute he should have his stripes taken away, And that is your boy Markings. and this has been going on for the last three years. As for the older guy that could not even get down to check for a pin. A CBHA parent told me that he had bad Arthiritis and had trouble getting up and down. So again I am right ..at least our refs can get down and make a call. Lets look at Phillip Simpson and where he is today???? I believe he is ranked 3rd or 4th oin the Nation. I don't belive he needs any help froma a ref. Jeff Hudgens is an old Antioch grad no affiliation wiht RYan or MBA..nice try but no go...you sound soo bitter and hurt having to dig up ancient history to try and bad mouth our refs.
