  1. How about we get back to what this board is really about....?
  2. Rumor has it, Clements is trying to get down to 138 by end of season (next 2-3 weeks). Impressive. But I don't see it paying off for him. As many have already said, Alex Ward has been dominate this season. NO ONE outworks him at the end of a match. At state, I don't see Clements getting the end result that he wants (a championship). Ward is just too tough, too conditioned, and too good. As far as Clements tomorrow night, the kid's an anomaly. Due to the ambitious desire to be at 138 (We're talking about a kid who wrestled 160 or so just a couple weeks ago), he is in his decent plan at this point. Main reason why he didn't participate in the Prep Slam this past weekend. So who knows what weight he'll step out at tomorrow. Could he weigh in low (ie decent plan) and bump way up to wrestle? Will he stick around the 40's? Don't think it really matters though. Shuffling has always been the star celebrity of this match every year, yet I don't see it being as big a factor this year.... As I previously said though, this one will be interesting this year. Nothing's secure.
  3. Hey now! Don't know why anyone around here would want to make me mad!! I take the high road these days. You insult my family though.... and it becomes a smack down! See you tomorrow my dearest CupCake. I'm sure you'll be sitting on the wrong side though.....
  4. I've not said anything on here in over a year, but felt this was a good place to put in my only two cents this season. The irony of this match this year is that both teams are really down. They are definitely not at their best. Yet, this will probably be one of the closest matches between the two in a while. Lots of possibilities. Lots of unknown. Lots of good times. This would not be a year to miss- no one knows what's going to happen.
  5. eddieeagle, You are right about everything you said, except the last part. You people are sad. I'm sorry. I told you what I said, and I'm just not the type of person to say anything more than what I already told you. And you were correct, it was only two words - "a piece". If I said what you thought I said, it would have been four words - "a piece of s***". But thanks for playing! It's been real guys. Glad you have nothing better to do than scrutinize the movement of my lips. And then discuss it to exhausting length on this board. Let it go! This is so ridiculous-
  6. Mocs2011- I'll let you in on a little secret... (I still know it's Manley).
  7. I appreciate your good-natured heart ynotme. It's very becoming of you. If you read my last two posts though, I admitted that what I said was unnecessary and something I shouldn't have done. Yet you continue to berate me. (Do you need a definition of "berate"). What else would you like me to do? Kiss your feet? And frankly, whatever Nick heard was incorrect. Were you there ynotme? Do you know the noise level in that place? Easy to misconstrue (I could give you a definition of "misconstrue" as well if you'd like). Why would I lie? I'm not the kind of person to say anything more than "a piece". That's just not me. Pretty pathetic huh!? You'd think my feisty anger could produce something a little more ill-willed! But sorry. Nope. That's all I've got; "a piece". Come to think of it... I think you're "a piece" too ynotme!
  8. As I said, it's your prerogative whether you believe me or not. As I also said, it's your ignorance that would keep you from taking my word for it. See ynotme, you asked me what I said and I answered you. Then you say it's not what I said. Ok, since you know better than me the words that came out of my own mouth, why don't you man up and say these theoretical made up things I said. I can tell you this, I may be feisty, I may be hot-headed, I may hate Baylor, but I will never stoop to that kind of level as to what you think I said. Was me calling Bullard (someone I personally know and have encountered in my work place, so this was no random exchange) "a piece" unnecessary? Yes, it was, and in retrospect, the way you crazies on here are blowing it up, something I shouldn't have done. But really, you decide instead to say that I said things I never said. Well if that's the case, why did you ask me what I said in the first place? Seems my answer would always be irrelevant, eh? You also say that you think I said something "a little more believable". Why is me saying something really evil, mean, or vulgar more believable? Is that the kind of person you think I am? Funny.... since you don't even know me. Looks like most have accepted my version of my own encounter. Imagine that... What is your aim ynotme??? If it's to get under my skin, I'm sorry, it's just not working. I'm only responding to you because whatever it is that is being said that I said, I need to defend (as BCB said) because honestly whatever it is going around, is not a true representation of me. So as I mentioned earlier, what did I say? I'm so curious to know... As is everyone else it looks like.
  9. Guys- Honestly, this has gotten way more out of hand than it should. If you would really like my perspective of what happened after that 171 pound match, then here it is. Everyone was planning on Duncan to pin Bullard, just as was the case with a lot of the other matches. Well we all know that pin didn't happen. Bullard was as happy as a loon to not get pinned. As he came over to shake my dad's hand (and you all know I was sitting next to dad on the bench), he had a huge smile and was shaking his head up at the crowd, smiling ear to ear. I didn't like it, for obvious reasons. But this is the thing, the "exchange" you speak of was more so an exchange of looks rather than words. After he shook dad's hand, he looks right at me smiling even bigger, I gave him a disgusted look, he gave one right back, I told him he was "a piece", nothing more, not "a piece of s***", just "a piece". He smiled even bigger, walks to the edge of the mat, turns back around, looks straight at me and throws his hands up at me as in "Come on, say more" or something along those lines. And that was it guys. Nothing more, nothing less. So whatever it is that people are thinking I said, it's just not true. Sorry to disappoint you. I'm sure you were expecting some sort of "bad girls club" exchange of words filled with inappropriate expletives, but that just wasn't the case. So put your imaginative perversions to rest. If telling someone they are "a piece" is so note-worthy and bad, then consider this my public apology, but really, I didn't see it that way. It's the rivalry, the heated moment events take place, we all know that. Especially when I was personally being provoked. I told you in my "coming out" post on the Baylor/McCallie thread, that I am feisty and hot-headed. It happens! But nothing more happened than what I have told from above. Whether you believe me or not is your prerogative, but it would be your ignorance that would keep you from taking my word for it. Enjoy the gossip throwing though, boys. Wait a minute, isn't gossip supposed to be for girls these days....
  10. Now, Mr. Manley, why would I need to guess again when I got it right the first time? You've been tattled on. Or how can I put it in more Bayloric terms for you... The tiger's out of the cage? But doesn't it just feel liberating now, knowing everyone knows who you are Mr. Manley!? Geez, can't wait to see you Friday Mr. Manley! I'll be sure to wave and smile! Have a great day today Mr. Manley!
  11. Really Tim Manley? Is this really what you're resorting to these days? Saying stupid, pathetic things on CoachT to a 22 year old girl? You may have baseless, pathetic and unnecessary reasons for being upset with someone else in my family. But then you're going to try and do this? It's sad. I'm sorry. Pretty sure everyone on this board would have my back on that. If you have something to say to me, I'll be there on Friday and you can talk to me in person. But to do this in this setting? Just really really sad.
  12. Yeah... isn't a journalist supposed to be impartial!? That should have been a line-up, not a prediction of who's going to win over who.
  13. Takedown - I was thinking more along the lines of "doofi" ... just my opinion!
  14. Memphiswrestling171- Welcome to coacht, a board of sarcasm and confusion! These guys are just messing around. Good thing you've got good people like me, raider76, bearcatbrown, and cupcake to steer you in the right direction. Don't worry, we've got your back, separating the myth from the fact of course...
  15. Hey I know you just asked for an opinion. Remember I said this at the end? "So now that I've gone off on probably the biggest tangent and off topic post ever in CoachT history"?? But now that you know I'm a girl, sometimes we get really emotional, us girls, and it overtakes us. Sorry about that! Haha no, I just figured it was about time for all that. It has been about 10 years since I joined this board. And what better time to "come out" than on the Baylor/McCallie thread. Seemed fitting don't you think!? Sure you don't want to come out too ynotme? Like I said, I'll grace you with my thoughts Friday night. That is if you're bold enough to come up and talk to me! Although if you are who I think you are, I'd rather you keep your distance!!
