McKenzie beat a terrible Milan team 58-57. Humboldt beat the same Milan team 80-39 and 76-42. McKenzie only beat the #8 ranked team in our District (Gleason) 48-46. Humboldt beat Gleason 90-39 and 80-41. Union City beat Gleason 75-19 and 90-45. Lake Co beat Gleason 80-42. Facts!! We have 14 players (Toylon Smith, Kelsey Rose, Derek Sain, Elijah Epperson, Marquise Weddle, Xavier Robinson, MJ Brown, Tony Mosley, Jay Warlick, Tony Tyler, Channing Geanes, Brandon Springer, Demarcus Patrick, Darius Ivory) that would've been the MVP of District 13A had they been playing over there.

Are you being serious? If you knew very much about West TN 1A basketball, you would not have Adamsville in the same sentence with Middleton or Middle College. You're right about one thing though. When 13A's #1 team only beats 14A's #9 team by 2 points, your District is very weak!

Was Weddle's ankle ever even hurt??? He was on crutches a couple days ago, and shaking people now? Hmmmmmmm

Who was the District 13a MVP?

My opinion probably isn't worth much, but I'd say Thad would be a 3 in college. He'd be more effective cutting and slashing to the goal, than posting up against 7 footers. I also don't think Chism will be a big time college player, not versatile enough. He's not a good enough shooter and ball handler to play a wing, and he's not really big enough to play a post. Going from High School to College is like going from Junior High to High School. Some make it big time, many don't. Just my opinion.

What's your prediction on the score?

They try to push the ball down the floor, shot a lot of outside shots, they do have a tall kid but he is thin and not very strong. No inside game, and can't defend one. Their strength of schedule this year will show!

I went and watched West Carroll play Huntingdon in their District Consolation game. No inside game whatsoever. West Carroll shot no less than twenty 3's in the first half alone. They call themselves "run and gun" but they will disappointed if they try to run with Lake Co. I think our District will sweep.

Thanks for all the info. I'm thinking about making a trip to Middle or East TN, but I want to see the best 1A teams, preferably in their Region Tournament. Any more info would be helpful. Thanks.

Probably be closer to 30 or more. Clarksburg just has one guard that can get the ball up the floor. I don't think that district can handler our presses.
