I don't think Fresh is saying that one player is doing all the work, everyone knows it takes a team effort to be good and there are a lot of great yound players for Forrest. Fresh is just giving a "shout out" to a great player. You can take it how you want but the kid is a true baller. Not only is he top in the District but if you will check you will see that only one 16 year old Singe A player in the State has a higher average for the year. The kid is about to break the school record for Forrest with his average (and as a Sophmore no less). Say what you want but you can't take that from him!

Yea, but did you see the size of Shankle's Dad? (see how stupid that sounds) What a stupid comment by both of you! No one is doing any beating! Hunter is as much of a gentleman on and off the court as you will find. I am sure the other boy is too! It is a game...grow up! I swear the parents and fans act much worse than the players ever will! And for you guys writing for "The Crew", I am at every game right beside you but I do need to point out two things. 1. Good grammar and writing skills will only make you money and help you win respect. 2. you do not further your (our) cause by talking smack. You are great fans and I for one appreciate you much but there is a correct way to show your support.

You guys crack me up! "You're not impressed" and "you only beat them by 4"...can't you do better than that? A win is a win no matter the score or how close just like our loss is a loss no matter the excuse for why we lost! 11-1 is 11-1 and it took some real ball playing to get there. Yes, we must keep it up or it will not mean anything by the end of the year but right now it looks good. On behalf of us parents who have watched our children grow and labor in their pursuit of this game I am sorry to inform you that they do not play to impress you...they play because they love the game!

Don't really get your point (since you didn't make one) but yes we did loose to them. We played poor ball which all good teams do now and then. But...we just beat a team everyone said we couldn't beat and we are 11 and 1. I guess now you will start with the "they didn't have all their starters" or my favorite "the refs were not fair" but the simple fact is that Forrest faced a good team and beat them on their home court! BGA played great ball and it was a close game. Go ahead and talk your smack...I am still proud of our boys. Go Forrest!

We didn't play ball and we lost...a simple fact. Unlike tonight when we beat BGA on their home court. Let's see...aren't we still ranked #1? Didn't I see a post that we would get some respect if we beat BGA? What's the excuse for the smack now?

So did I read someone's post that said Forrest shouldn't brag since they have yet to face a real team? And another that said just wait until Forrest meets BGA? Final Score Forrest 59 BGA 53! Hunter Shankle had over 20 for Forrest and the whole team played their hearts out. Jenkins, McCone, Byrd, Schnapp and all the boys deserved this one! Chapel Hills Coach deserves a tip of the hat too. Guess we still haven't played a real team? (just kidding...BGA is a great team as are several of the teams we have faced this year).

Don't know about the past players but at Forrest it is Hunter Shankle. Not only good at every sport he plays but a great team player.
