  1. Pickett Scored 6 in the first half and 13 in the second half Clay scored 18 in first half and 19 in the second half Dale led CCHS with 18! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. I don't think anyone from Celina thought you all stunk. We just had a more talented team then ...That was when our girls basketball was in its prime with Coach Sims' teams Sub-State streak plus 4 Silver Balls for our trophy case. Trust me it will be Clarkrange and Jackson County's two Sub-State positions to lose this year. If Clay County plays like they played tonite against Pickett, we can probably forget about getting out of the District let alone the Region. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  3. Clay County at Friendship Christian CCHS Won 61-58 Clay County hosting Friendship Christian CCHS Won 50-47 No way can this FCS team matchup with Clarkrange team....Clarkrange by 30 unless Lamar called off the dogs (no pun intended). No way can you compare this team to any of Coach Brown's good teams with the "twin towers" he had and alot better guards than this year's. Sorry FCS but you won't be advancing far in region. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  4. Bulldogs beat Tigers for second time 64-51! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. Sorry Muffin but your Tigerettes got beat in the Dawg House 55-42!
  6. District 7A tourney held at Livingston Academy again this year. Absolutely sure Region 4A tourney will NOT be held at Blackman.
  7. Last Time these teams played @ Macon County, Nathan Knight hits last second shot to give the Dawgs the victory. Can CCHS complete the sweep Friday night at home?
  8. Last time these teams played CCHS lost by 4 at Macon County. Can the Lady Dawgs even the score at home on Friday night?
  9. Last time these teams played CCHS lost by 4 at Macon County. Can the Lady Dawgs even the score at home on Friday night?
  10. THANKS!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  11. THANKS!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Well I feel goofy!!! I saw we were playing Wayne County and ASSUMEd it was TN! We all know what assuming gets you! Thanks greenwheel for the brackets! Looks like a pretty diverse tournament. The Dawgs will be tested! Good luck Coach Edwards and the guys! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  13. Superfan, word of warning when you tangle with Battlecatt you are pretty much messing with the "heart" of Bulldog basketball! This fan is arguably one of if not THE #1 Dawg Fan! Hey Catt, I know you don't need me to speak for you but just wanted to let you and your close friend know that I am sorry if I did anything inappropriate on any of the other threads in the past to offend anyone. That was not my intention at all. You know that my blood is black and gold as well and always will be just like yourself. Just thought apology might be needed. Me and mine are in Orlando till the 30th. Good luck at Monticello, KY and Nera White for the Lady Dawgs. Cheer them on only like you can! See you when we get back! /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
  14. Doesn't anyone have any info to share?
  15. I don"t know what game you were at, but most of us had never seen PC play before tonite. I promise you we were shocked at the caliber of team we faced tonite that was wearing the PC uniforms. I was talking to ex-PC players and spectators from other 7A schools that were in attendance and no one could believe how far the talent level has dropped in PC. Yes I understand you graduated 5 seniors last year, but I'm sorry I just don't see the RAW talent there that has the capability to get better as in years past. So you can get on here and spread all the sunshine and roses you want to about this game, but truth be told PC was never even remotely close to CCHS tonite. If you call rotating 1 starter in with the 3rd string in the 4th qtr keeping our starters in then I guess I have to agree with you about playing our starters. Another thing, I didn't think I would see the day that Clay County's fans outnumbered PC fans in Byrdstown. The Bobcats may win a few games but I don't think it will be against too strong of competition. Certainly not against the District leaders. Sorry, but I think a very big District 7A rivalry DIED tonite.
  16. Sorry Superfan, not even close! Pickett didn't even score in the first quarter! PC scored a 3-ptr and 3 Ft's for the first half. They were scared to death. Shawn Garrett's defense out front was just something these guys had never encountered before. For 3 quarters our guys got a hand on every pass the bobcats attempted. Our 3rd string against your subs was the only time we couldn't score at will. Final: A merciful 49-23 Looks like the well has run dry in Bobcat land. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  17. Sorry Superfan, not this time! Lady Dawgs by 7 (55-48) Kayla Kimes (#30) seals the deal at the free throw line! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  18. Not picky but just correct.....CCHS beat RBS by 5 in OT!
  19. Clay County is in........WHO ELSE????
  20. The difference of the two teams however, (according to some of your own fans on other threads) is that Coach Edwards is playing alot of younger guys THIS season as well while the game is still in question to get them ready for NEXT year. Even though Coach Bibb enjoyed several blowout wins LAST year, he didn't get his younger players into the games enough to get hem ready for full-blown competition THIS year. I'm not worried, Coach Edward's will have a competitive team for several years to come and with the success the Jr. High boys are having it may be even more successful even longer. /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> About this game: I promise the Dawgs always know PC is a tough place to play. PC's shooting percentage usually goes up 10-15% while at home. The Dawgs will bring their "A" game Friday...Nobody will be overlooked!
  21. Well, how did this one go? Score? Highlights?
  22. Definitely not the same Gordonsville team that played in Celina. This team hit 13 3 pointers! They shot the lights out from the rest of the field! Plus, they made most of their free throws! Clay County shot 8 of 19 from free throw line in the 1st half alone! Never could dig out of the hole they were in! Gotta step it up girls.....Going to Pickett on Friday night!
  23. Sorry, but think again. You don't come into the Dawg House and win THIS year! /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
