OH YEAH, I've been on the uh, what did you call it, 'net', that was it. Yes, been on it, just don't live on it because of a little hobby I have of working. Family and all....You worry about the Clones and we'll take care of the Creek.

Actually what I'm saying is that most of what I read in our local rags is uneducated speculation, rumors etc. which only serves to stir up trouble. You didn't read anything in my post. I don't know what is going on at Elizabethon and honestly that's your all's troubles, I don't care. Minton is the man for Unaka. Pink has been the man, I know because I played for him when he was at Unaka in the late 80's and have nothing against him but having been at Unaka all my life I can say the baseball program needs Minton.

From my perspective as a parent of a player on the team, the best fit for a Head Coach at Unaka is Jon Minton. That's who needs to be there, he's earned it. As for Krich, I hope you have all your facts on this straight. Uneducated speculations disguised as facts are the cause of a lot of problems, such as what is going on at Elizabethton. We don't want or need that at Unaka it's counterproductive for the team.

There's an insightful bit of advice. How can you improve when you "stay in your league" or "stick within your limits" and only play teams you can beat? With wisdom like that you'll be a world class parent or coach someday. Maybe you could join the lecture circuit, there's good money in it or is that out of your league.

They played 6 quarters and it wasn't 30 at the end of 4. Leave them alone and let them play.

If Fritz had ever played any sport other than typing (papercuts are pure heck...) then he would understand the significance of an intercounty rivalry. Call up the Georgia Bulldogs and ask them what a rivalry is, they can define one for you. Stats, schedules and past history are meaningless in this game, it's more about pride.

I don't think anyone underestimates them, it's more like they are expected to make a good run. Rockwood's a good team and I hope they go all the way now that Unaka has bowed out. Good Luck

You're entitled to your opinion. Were you there when they beat Sullivan Central? How about shutting out Unicoi? Or ask Tennessee High how weak Unaka is. Yeah, I guess they are pretty weak. What did you say your name was? I don't recall seeing you at the games. All we did was beat Harriman and that was it, should've just skipped that one and drove on over to Memphis. Who's Harriman anyway, so they beat Rockwood a few times, big deal. Rockwood who? If a team made it to Memphis they deserved to be there, there are no bad teams in Memphis. It's easy to sit home and run off at the mouth, when all you have left to do IS sit home and run off at the mouth. In all of your wisdom, whom did you think should have went to Memphis there O Great One?

Just a guess but it was Tee's turn in the rotation. The report from a parent who's there said it looked like a case of nerves, they weren't playing their game today.
