Our first baseman, Jessica Blevins, is awesome. Without her, we might not be able to win the games we do. Not only does she do an outstanding job scooping balls out of the dirt, and stretching out to catch the ball before the runner gets there, she also bats over .400. Jess should definitely be recognized!!

I am a player from Happy Valley and we faced them last year in substate. From what I hear they returned their starting pitcher (lefty, I think) who was very competitive last year, and their short stop who is one of the best infielders I have seen in high school ball. I look for them to be very strong again. Good luck Lenoir City.

Im not arguing with your response, but I honestly don't think he is trying to tear the girls down. He is stating his opinions more on the coach. I know he would never mean any hurtful things towards the girls. He isnt trying to take credit for Hv's success, he was just defending himself. I dont think you should lose respect for someone over an opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and he isnt afraid to say what he thinks. Again, Im not disagreeing with you or arguing with you, but I think maybe you misunderstood his statements. This isnt a mean reply, just maybe a clarification.

I wanted Brutus at the signing for Milligan. he has influenced me so much and has taught me more about the game of softball than anyone ever has. Without him, I might not be where I am today. I didnt know that there was any problem with him being there. All the girls were glad to see him, and I didnt try to cause controversy. I only thought it right for him to be there since he has made such an impact on me. Now, can everyone act like civilized adults and quit arguing over softball on this site. It is only a game, and its supposed to be fun. Why fight over a game? It wont get anybody anywhere. Lets talk about ball on here, not each other. Good luck to all the softball teams in Tennessee!! Gr8one..... this is whittney again, as you can tell i dont even have a name on here thats why i have to use someone elses...... and I dont play basketball because i "am a quitter" ...... so why would i even care how other teams do , when i dont even hardly get to go watch HV...... this is all very silly , but i have a good idea you should think about that name ..... and then connect it with a #10...... who plays ball cause it is not me!....... i like rikki as well as all of the other Elizabethton players.... as i estabilished before, I dislike Unicoi , and that is the only team i would not say pleasent things about......
