  1. Congrats to your team, Yeti!! They endured to the end and showed that the game is always played on the field and not on paper!!!
  2. And the QB can run, I didn't understand that move either. Anyway, Congrats again!!
  3. Congrats MC on the "W". Just as I said the interception in the 2nd qtr, the fumble on the goal line. Defense held us as long as they could but I am dissatisfied with the Offense tonight.
  4. That probably cost Tyner the game, not scoring after getting to the 2 yard line.
  5. MC's O-line is as good as advertised. Tyner has to settle down on Offense and score each time because MC is eating up the clock.
  6. Ram defense keeping us in there and we get the ball after halftime.
  7. Tyner defense holds MC to a field goal after they drove inside 15 yard line.
  8. I'm here @oldfaithful. Just wanted to know.
  9. Will the game be broadcast by a local radio station tonight, and if so, what is the station number??
  10. And I will be the first one on here to congratulate MC. Tyner compared to MC is a young team(only 6 seniors). So better days are ahead for the Rams!! MC has about 15 seniors which gives them the advantage in experience. Coach Chandler will have them ready.
  11. Don't know about that...I heard he was from Marion County.
  12. Don't really know where Keelyn went after leaving Tyner. The Craddock family had a bunch to come thru Tyner. Very athletic kids!
  13. Teams are less than a touchdown apart according to Sonny and Offense/Defense numbers are close as well. The kids will need to be focused... looking forward to a good game/atmosphere!!
  14. Sonny Moore's Power Rating for the game: Marion County- 128.53+2.0=130.53 Tyner Rams- 124.79 Difference: 5.74 points
  15. Really like this post and when you closed it with scripture, that was all I needed to hear my brother!!
  16. Just because MC won last year doesn't mean they will win this year. I think that's what oldfaithful was saying! Everything in bold that you said is the reason why Tyner is doing better but they still have a lot to work on. This game will be a test for both teams and will probably come down to which team commits the fewest errors.
  17. Tyner will be challenged as well facing MC's OL and/or DL. Matching up with the skill players will be interesting (to say the least).
  18. Marion County average on Offense and Defense: 38.4 - 6.2 Tyner Rams: 40.3 - 12.3 The more I think about it the more I believe that it will come down to special teams and/or turnovers!
  19. I kinda feel like that too and whomever has possession at the end
  20. TTP you almost got it right when it comes to the series but this is what has happened since 2015: MC won 2 games in 2015 and 2016 & 2020. Tyner won 2 in 2017, 2018 & 2019. Both have won 4 games since the series was resumed in 2015. The teams did not play between 2009-2014( 6 years). Tyner dominated between 1996 and 2008. Should be a good game on Friday and a measuring stick especially for the Rams!!
  21. Not necessarily PM...Marion County hasn't won a game in Jasper against Tyner since 2015. Rams won in 2017(37-28) and 2019(48-0). I agree. It should be the game of the week and it will probably come down to which team makes the fewest turnovers.
  22. Don't know why #4 is on the field. He is obviously hurt and limping. Why risk him when this game is basically over. 46-6 and almost end of 3rd
