Hey Franklin County guys. I'm one of the Lincoln County guys. I think teams like ya'll and like our own are on the verge of breaking the ice for other teams in our region. We are still new programs in relatively small towns, unlike Wilson Central who have a bigger variety to choose from.( No disrespect intended) Take us for example. In our 6th year we've broken our school record for wins.It was 8 wins for the season, we have 14 or 15 team wins this season with most likely another win on the way. It may not be while you are on the team, but I promise that Franklin County will surprise some people in the next few years like we did this year. Good luck to the rest of the team for the rest of this season and for all the upcoming seasons.

You left out one main person. The 119 from Lincoln County beat Creighton from Page by pin. That's why he is ranked 3rd in the region and Creighton is fourth.

I never said anything to disrespect Sullivan or anypne else for that matter. I've said it several times, this class will be one to watch. And , like Sullivan, I respect the sport and each competitor.If I said something that was disrespectful, it was completely unintended.

I saw him wrestle in person.

It wasnt the Forrest starter who beat me, it was the other 171 at the Marshal county Duals.he beat me by one point

14-7 Lost to Riverdale twice,Blackman,Warren County, Brentwood, St.Andrews,Forrest. Pinned 3 times,teched 0 times and I haven't lost a match by more than 3 points.

Don't know her personally but I know who she is. And you'll be rid of me next year cuz I'm a senior and will soon be graduating. But Shelbyville 171 will be weak for you. Go for the shoot, but when you do make sure you penetrate a lil deeper. When you shot on me I was able to sprawl because you were too far out.

Hey Rebelman. Good match the other day, you had me worried. But Shelbyville this year is no where near as good as they were last year. Thier 171(Hickman) quit earlieir this season due to academics and football. Their new 171 is tall and lanky with very little muscle. I pinned him in the 2nd. Good luck rest of the season.

Tanner, what do you think about the Lincoln County 119 Holt? Do you think his undefeated streak is a fluke or do you think he actually has what it takes to be one of the "haases" in the region? Will it be a good match between the two of you Thursday?

We've listed a bunch of things that make up a good wrestler. And generally they were all the same. But what truly makes a good wrestler??? one word..........HEART!!!!!!

Everything about this weight class has been said. The ranked guys are the favorites by far. And we see no unknowns coming out of the dark except for Oketa and (longshot) Lincoln County. Every other 171 has pretty much been thrown out. Am i correct here??? Cuz ,like I said earlier in another post, this is gonna be one to watch. If anyone doesnt have anything new to add, why dont we just stop posting stuff on this topic??? Good Luck to all competitors.

I wrestled Oketa from Riverdale and he is strong, semi-technical and hates bein on bottom. We went all 3 rounds until he beat me 10 to 8. It was a good match. Look for Brentwood's 171 to go far. Blackman has a good shot too. Overall, this is one of the best classes to watch this year.It's a relatively small class as far as numbers go but by far one of the most interesting.The kid from Lincoln Countyhas put up a fight against Blackman, Okete twice, Brentwood,Forrest, and Warren County and he's only been pinned 3 times in 20+ matches. He's a second year guy, don't know alot about him really except he's gonna put up fights on the mat.But look for the ranked guys to make it the farthest, but I encourage everybody to watch this class at Regions.
