Congrads to S'town girls, but it's a shame that only one team was allowed to play. Forrest played a zone and no press with some man to man. S'town played a full court man to man press and slapping, hands on defense. Forrest shot 3 foul shots, S' town shot 48. We all know how S'town plays,good aggressive in your face defense and press. I believe this game was intentionly called against Forrest. This game should have been decided by the players, not the refs. From the start of the 2 period, Forrest wasn't allowed to play any kind of pressure defense, without being called for a foul. I hope a Tssaa official will watch the tape and in the future will keep these kind of officials from calling games like that. These Forrest girls deserve better than they got tonight. End of 1st. Perry Co. 19-13.

This has been a great year in Chapel Hill. The Forrest Middle girls went undefeated for the second year in arow, with a 22-0 record. The FMS girls program has a record of 61-3 the past 3 years and with the 7th graders they have on the team now, it's only going to get better. Two state TNT championships back to back. A great high school program, that won their district and will be playing for the district tournament championship on Thurs. nite. I would like to thank all the people that came out to watch the girls and for their support this year,and to the coaching staff. Coach Sherry Jones done a wonderful job with this group of girls,and to Coach Robbie, for his help and imput. Can't wait to next year. GO LADY ROCKETS............ thumb

All season long Forrest has proven people wrong. With all of the overtime games these girls have played, they are the best team out of the 4 teams left to compete with the teams from 12-a. Coach Robbie knows how to coach the big game when it comes down to it. The girls believe in him and he in them, that's why Forrest is the team to beat in 11-a. If you're a true basketball fan, you will enjoy watching these girls play, but make sure you have a strong heart. GO LADY ROCKETS IN THE FINALS.........

Hey Voltage, wrong game. Forrest 36 Livingston 30. The game against USJ score was Forrest 41 USJ 25. Forrest will play Ezell Harding-Ft. Loudon winner for championship of 4a. Ft.Loudon was ahead at halftime 12 to 7 on sat.

Forrest is peaking at the right time of the year. When you start 3 freshman , it take time for the girls to adjusts. Coach Reasonover has done a great job with this team and should be the coach of the year in 11a. I would like to give credit to the 1 senior, juniors, and sophs for their leadership as upperclassmen. This team doesn't have 1 star, but 13. I want to congratulate Coach Robbie and Coach Sherry for their committment to Forrest Basketball and to the girls they coach, and futhermore to the teams that are left in district 11a after this year, you can thank the Tssaa for pulling Forrest out of the district, so you will have a chance to win the title for years to come. With all but 1 girl returning next year and the girls coming up from the middle school, I know if I was coach, I think that I have died and gone to heaven with that kind of talent. Sorry to disapoint yall' about the game Moore Co. vs Cascade for championship,won't happen. Cascade forgot about the 8th graders coming up from the middle school for Forrest.Forrest wins 52-44. GO LADY ROCKETS!!!!!!!

Forrest Lady Rockets ousted #2 seed Cascade by the score of 52-44. The Rockets was up as much as 14 points.

They are moving up 9 girls out of 17 that was on the bench. The problem that is going to cause for other teams is that all of these girls that are returning have seen alot of playing time this year and have played together as a team since they were in the 4th grade. They all will start playing spring ball in March and finish sometimes in July. The 6th graders that are moving up will have alot of talent to add to this team,too.

Does anybody have any information on Bledsoe Middle record this season, and any stats?

One of the best middle school girls team that I have seen is the Lady Rockets from Forrest. They are 16-0 and are heading to Springfield to play in the TNT State Tournament. They will play Bledsoe Co. on Sat. Feb.14 at 12:20 pm. They weren't able to play in the Tmsaa Sectionals at Summertown because of the World Tournament at Chapel Hill which they won on Sat.Jan.31. In Dec.,they beat Summertown at Summertown by 12. Summertown is playing for the championship against Coffman in the sectional. If you enjoy girls basketball at it best, this game is a must to see. These girls have been together since 4th grade and have been apart of the Tennessee Flash program and are well coached by Sherrie Jones and Robbie Reasonover. Come to Springfield and watch these girls from Chapel Hill in action.
