Let's see that would be 2100! Actually, the Sox do have a good front office that has recognized that is important to field a team to win in any ballpark and not one that is just for Fenway.

Yankees win the AL East. Sox will miss Pedro and the three they brought in to replace him will not measure up to what Pedro has done for them. Not to mention that Lowe is gone as well.

Milan may have trouble in a tournament setting finding some quality starts behind the Whites...but then again, most other teams will as well.

Why would it? The reached the state finals! If you're going by coming in 2nd in the state and losing in the state finals by 7 points, then every coach that didn't get that far should lose their job. 108 other teams tried but didn't get that far. Boy, that means there's going to alot of coaching vacancies.

If you leave your user name logged in on a computer instead of logging out. Sometimes users, particularly at the same school, will use the same user name intentionally. Problem there is that one person can cause the user name to be banned or, worse, the banning of the school's ip address which affects every computer in the school.
By the way, I can't dunk on anyone.
Watch out for the beans and bar-b-q!

That incident in the stands was instigated by a Bolivar fan. If you were put in that circumstance, I believe you would have reacted the same way. The incident was not about Peabody fans, it was about a man standing up for his wife.

I don't know that we disreguard what Bonds, McGwire, Sosa or any of the other players that have possibly done steroids has achieved in their careers. I believe their numbers and records stand. We actually have no proof at all - other than speculation - that any of them were using at the time of setting records or putting up the numbers they have. Now, I do believe that they were on steroids or some type of supplement that would rival or is related to steroids. We can't go about this in a Judge Landis way these days. IMO, the numbers stand - tainted or not.

I changed my stance after watching the Tigers end the first half on a run that Vandy couldn't recover from.
Yeah, 2 more wins to go for the Tigers and they win the Not Invitedtotheothertournament Tournament! Whoa! Fill the trophy case with that accomplishment!
On a related note...steroids are legal only if prescribed by a doctor. There is only one drug or substance that is injected that is legal to purchase without a prescription - insulin. Now, if these players are getting steroids legally, then we have some doctors to bring before the judicial committee and the ADA board. BTW, Canseco is not a certified doctor.

The "character" portion of the Mr. Basketball award is mainly directed toward how the nominee conducts themselves in the community and at the school...at least that's how it was described to me by one of the nine people on the panel that ultimately elect the winners.

I'm in no way shape or form in the type of shape that Barry Bonds or any well tuned professional athlete is...but, I know for darn sure that I'm not going to take something that may harm me. I do see some similar traits between Barry and myself. Though I may not do steroids, I used to have a favorite food or two that might be considered bad for me to eat.
Well, I have succombed to my weakness for french fries a few times recently! O.K., I haven't been on my diet and exercise routine for a few weeks now! There, you broke me! I'm just so tired! You, you, you, you and you all did it! You wanted me to jump into that buffet line at Ci Ci's Pizza and I did - are you happy! It was my mistress - even if it was for just 40 minutes of wonderful carnage! At least I didn't buy it a house!

I posted this on another thread, but, it conveys my opinion about Barry's recent deal:
Bonds is a genious! He's going to be on the DL for a while....he will not have to go through the new steroids tests until he gets off the DL. He's also created a soap opera about why he won't be around for awhile because of the "media". So, everyone is focusing on Barry being a whiner today and not seeing it is a ploy. He paraded his kid in front of the camera yesterday and said he is tired of being run through the ringer. He wanted the fame and enjoys the "Barry s#*ks" chants at Dodger Stadium...but, he doesn't like the other part of being famous. He doesn't like the part of being caught in the public eye with a mistress. He doesn't like the Balco investigation going public. He also evidently doesn't believe he can pass his first steroid test. It's a perfect soap opera to cover up what is really going on with him...he's afraid of being found out!
Granted, he is a great player and a great hitter! But, a guy doesn't put on that much muscle weight without help.

I think the two teams from 15 & 16 that are favored to move on are Halls & Dresden. But, don't be surprised if South Fulton throws a wrench into everyone's plans. Gwin Wood may not have the best talent, but he gets a great deal from them.
