WOW...you start by calling out a child and then her family and now you are trashing an entire community!!?? And all for something that seems to have started FIVE years ago??? If my calculations are correct, that would mean Adkins nor ANY of the girls on the current team would have been in high school yet!!! So get over it!! Your credibility is really soaring there SILENT!! So why don't you just sit at home and admire all of those "awards " from YOUR glory days from high school through your professional athletic career /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> and leave these high school kids alone!! If you had so much athletic talent and knowledge, you should be out in "your community" helping kids learn sports instead of on a high school web-site trashing them!!

In the past four years, Cookeville has had three different softball coaches. So probably was a good decision not to go there.

Ok...first of all RUMORS is the operative word there!! We all know we should believe every RUMOR we hear!!?? RIGHT??!! She never would have moved for basketball reasons because she had NO interest in playing basketball in college. Softball is her sport!! She also did what she believed in and I don't care what you...SILENT Majority believe as you probably always gone with the MAJORITY because you did not have the integrity to stand up for what was right!!! You obviously only believe what is said at the convenience mart!! She was not going to represent a school or community that transferred a teacher that was successful in the classroom and on the field and replace her with a new basketball coach from Cookeville. (We have all read about that in basketball and know how that turned out) It was very political as many things are in Putnam County! And as far as scorebooks, I am sure you have no idea what the scorebooks say! If all of those girls were hitting .400, I am sure they would have made it alot farther than they did and college scouts would be "chomping at the bit" to get those girls signed!! So unless you have access to those books, and you wouldn't unless you are the current softball coach, don't even try to go there!! Monterey had always had a good TEAM and I never have read anything but positives that Adkins has said about that team. She realizes it takes a complete team to be successful! She is currently PLAYING for JC, she is not the coach and does not have the authority to call practices. She can suggest and offer to participate in non-called practices but that doesn't mean anyone else will participate. I do guarantee you that she does plenty work on her own. And she does play in A ball....not AAA??!! If you were at the game...which I am sure you were....you would notice that the MAJORITY of the girls and Taylor have much love and respect for each other and basically that is all that really matters!! So SILENT MAJORITY next time you want to call out a CHILD for standing up for what she believes in.....think about how many times you have actually done it as an adult!! What can you say that you have done for a person that has been wronged that can cause such a stir for people to talk about a year later!!?? I guess thats why your SILENT??!!

That was my point-Mr Cummins would have no need to avoid "publicity". He has always run a top notch program. Would like to know who "they don't want the publicity" that Trueline was referring to?? hopi-just curious, if Mr Cummins and "the board" doesn't have the brackets, who makes them out?? Just seems reasonable to me that he would have a copy of all brackets.

What do you mean "publicity"?? Doesn't Mr Cummins have the brackets?? What publicity would he be trying to avoid?? I never was able to find the South Middle 10U bracket but they played last weekend.

Have these brackets been made available yet?? North & East are posted on the AAU site but not South or West.

I know the Rockets played the sub-state in Harriman last year but I didn't see their name on the brackets for this weekend. Are they playing sub-state? If so, where?? Also, I am aware that some of the girls that played for the Rockets last year are playing on another team. What is the name of that team??

I also heard the dates were April 16-18 but has anyone seen the brackets?
