I hope Tennessee sends many wrestlers this year to the Senior Nationals. It is about time for Tennessee wrestling to start shining along with the many big nothern states. We have the talent, we just need to get them to the tourney. Is there anybody else who knows if they are going? -Bodylock2

Walkenvol, I believe the call was that, Spencer wasn't just on the neck, but that he was on the throat. I am sure that Tim wasn't making a call that he personally thought should be illegal. Being around the throat is illegal. That is what he saw. -Bodylock2

I disagree with Jake Geismer supposed to win. He got lucky to score on Simpson. He had a good season and finished the best he could have. I don't pitty him not winning at all. -Bodylock2

Very interesting comments so far about 119 lbs. Boby Jones or (Mr. Young) or whoever you are. Don't worry to much. If Young is as good as you guys say he is, then why care where they seed him. If he is the best he will win! Why so much anger about something that doesn't really matter. Isn't Young in the same bracket with Geismer? The kid he already beat! If I were you I would be thankful the brackets fell the way they did.

cbg I agree with your statement. I think Manley has more to prove by going 152 than any of the others. I also think you are right about his senior leadership. It is apparent that he is the man on the team that has shown the most leadership. Good luck to them all. I think McCallie has their own "Four Horseman", (Smith, Blair, Manley and Scott).

You guys are such fools. The JV kid sent out at 171 was a senior for MBA who was in a close match only behind by two before the pin. I guess his youg team must have gotten younger with the jv???

If you think MBA threw the match then they did a very poor job of throwing the match. Didn't it come down to the last match? If they were really trying to throw the match I think they could have used some freshmen to really get beat. I think the earlier post was more accurate in the assumption that Coach Simpson tried to rest some starters. It is obvious that his strategy backfired.

So, what is your point? Are you claiming that coaches can not and should not change line-up to suit their needs to win. Just sounds like a crying baby to me. You got beat except it and go home.

Some things never change. Christian Brothers always think they are better than everybody else, especialy from the Middle region. They are always boasting about how good they are. Well, I will see this weekend if they are just full of hot air again. Bodylock2

I am glad someone cleared up the sudden drop in weight of Kyle James. I was coming to the wrong conclusion when I saw the tourn results. I really couldn't figure out why James would go down to 119 lbs. for the tournament other than he was scared to face Hiller of Ryan again. If I recall, Hiller is the only one to give James a match this year (4-4 going into the 3rd period the finally 11-7). I hope I am not wrong on this. I am sure many would have loved to see that match up again with Hiller and James. Love those good matches!!!!!!! It makes the fans come back for more.
