  1. It was all meant to be in good fun. I assure you.
  2. Tim, I think about everyone except you is over the Manley family drama. What's done is done. You made your move and have a son wearing red, good for you. The chair incident is nearly half a decade old, and the only thing anyone remembers is what a jerk you made out of yourself. At the end of the day, we all know why you are still mad, and no one cares any more. That being said, you continue to make this whole thing personal so congratulations, mission accomplished. As far as admission goes, I'd happily pay you the ticket price to stay at home. After you left the McCallie Wrestling community, we did contemplate dropping the program for a short time, thinking there would be no way in which the program would survive without your support. However we quickly realized that dropping the wrestling program at McCallie would leave you nothing to complain about. I think you should be less concerned about what sports McCallie adds/drops and more concerned that we don't "Screw" another one of your sons out of another state title... again. Word has it that McCallie has a tough 112 pounder in their line up too. No weight class excuses this time Tim. Once again you have managed to over shadow your son's talent with thoughtless actions and comments. JMF
  3. Wow... is it really necessary to be that PC on a wrestling message board? Maybe you should jump ship to the cheerleading mb's... I bet they don't say things that will hurt your feelings there...
  4. P.S. I say it's a toss up btw McCallie in the late 80's/early 90's or Bradley Central in the "Logsdon Era" Late 90's/early 2k's P.S. I say it's a toss up btw McCallie in the late 80's/early 90's or Bradley Central in the "Logsdon Era" Late 90's/early 2k's
  5. Ok, I've got a good one for you guys. Out of all the TSSAA Wrestling Program "Dynasties" who was the most hated? Your thoughts? Make your own luck -Dan Gable
  6. 10-1 odds says we see them both in the finals saturday, then they can decide who holds the rights to the #1 spot
  7. sweeton hardly dominated everyone..... if im not mistaken he won in the finals in overtime his junior year... and then wrestled 160 his senior year so he wouldnt have to face Ward of soddy daisy............
  8. glad somebody final jumped on this. just wanted to correct that heath eslinger only wond it twice and when and where did scott wells win cadet nationals 3 times.
  9. not sure i understand what happened here. manley was forced to move up 2 weight classes without any say at all. i can see that maybe a coach needs to do what he has to to help the team win but movin a kid up 2 weight classes against tough competition and comprimising his last tournament as a senior. ouch.
  10. The Bradley fans are great..... They go nuts for their wrestlers when they are on the mat.... Im sure there kids love it.... Plus i saw them on numerous occasions there crowd stand up and cheer at the end of a match when there kid was not even competing at that weight.... the one i remember most specifically is when the james kid from soddy won their whole crowd stood up and cheered even though he had beaten cordell of bradley that year before..... Bradley fans are true wrestling fans... They back their kids first but are right behind giving credit to those who deserve it....
  11. How about a list of the top 10 wrestlers from the past decade?
  12. In watching the finals on saturday afternoon, i saw four seniors loose their last match. It pained me to see the looks on the faces of each, after their realization of a senior title came to a screeching halt. The four I had in mind were danny coleman from cleveland, spencer manly from mccallie, jake geismer from baylor and tim manson also from baylor. Each one wrestled a smart tough match from beginning to end and we should applaud them all for that. One thing in particular that struck me as inspiring, was the look in mansons eyes, even though he was being out gunned by mccallies cody cleveland, manson still kept coming with all he had, not backing down the entire match. You could see in him that there was a controlled rage which elevated his fight. Its never fun to walk away from a senior year with out accomplishing what you set out for, but we should all be proud of these four, for the way in which they competed during their senior season. Good luck to the four of you. The entire tennessee wrestling community is proud of you. p.s. any more deserving seniors i forgot to mention out there?
  13. I'm sure the classy mccallie fans would be more than willing to buy you a box of tissue "anias316"....
