I heard that Ridgeway's Preseason Tournament for this weekend has been cancelled. True?

Why?

Anybody care to comment or speculate what the results would have been had the entire Collierville team been to weigh ins on time?

Shouldn't that have been determined before the brackets were set? Will they give first round byes or will they call the 5th place kid up?

LOL Like anybody's afraid to say anything here! Or afraid of ticking sombody off! I just have one thing to say - everybody be extra nice and good after the tourney. The nicer we are, the longer Coach T will keep the board open. What'd we get last year after the tournament before the board was shut down - two weeks?

I guess everybody's either off to the races or in the basement watching scouting videos.... Wish I were- instead of sitting in front of this computer.

Ok. There are a lot of deserving coaches out there. A LOT. So many, I have no idea who they are. Could we narrow the field for the Board Reader's Choice Award? There are 8 regions, for now. I'm sure each region gave a coach of the year award. Region 8: Coach Jason Thiry. This is his first year coaching the Cordova Wolves, and in just one season he made his team from one of the worst into one of (and some could argue for "THE best") in the region. Who won for each region?

Ok, I guess there are TWO Justin Tisdales, one at 140, one at 145, from different schools? What are the odds of that? Had me confused.

I just want to say thanks to Coach Bray, and to all the others who helped run this tournament. It was very enjoyable and well-run. A fitting & memorable end as the last Region 8 tournament held in Memphis. thumb
