There have been a few players go big time division 1 and others small division 1 Lee Humphrey - Florida Travis Stinnett - Alabama Tom Gallagher - Radford Micah Marsh - Arkansas State Scott Williams - Marshall Kenny Teffeteller - Tennessee Maybe more, and of course there have been alot that have played small college basketball. For all of you talking about Lester Whitted, the hype doesn't match the play.

Now this site has become an academic site. How exciting. Gpa's, ACT scores, SAT scores are everywhere isn't this all for show. It's all about the money you make. Just like it's not how you win, just so you win. I say fatjoe and etcoach one on one in an academic bowl. Loser leaves the site.

etcoach and govman - can I not get a response to my post. Is the problem I'm too smart for a response. At least fatjoe responds, I guess I'm going to have to turn my attention to other post. Maybe I should start posting about gpa's, this seems to fire you 2 up.

govman - etcoach. I was almost a believer in the govs until last night. All the hype was just too much. Now they must get a win against a quality team to bring me back. What is wb's record against winning teams as opposed to losing teams? I see Alcoa is next up, now this would bring some respect. Also, Govman high school teams don't rebuild unless they recruit. You play with what you have. Now there are some schools in the area that do reload(rebuild) through this method, but not wb.

etcoach you are correct the Maryville guys are very good, but they did just have 2 guys back. The only thing I challenge is wb's record against good teams. The way I see it they have beat a good Farragut team and that's it. Check the record of their AAA wins. Except for SD none of the other teams have come close to a winning record and you know how good SD is(according to your post). A sign of a good coach is to win the games they can. WB has done that plus one. They need to get 1 more to make me a fan. Take out Farragut and the winning percentage of their AAA wins is probably about 30%. No knock on wb, just the facts. WB has had a good run of talent the last 3 years. How many of those players are playing in college in comparison to Maryville?

You are correct etcoach. Good coach, evidently quality person, but of these teams they played out of district how many have they beaten? Maryville only has 2 players back from last year, so does that make Nelson the coach of the century? The league is just not that good. Give wb credit for making the most out of the soft part of their schedule.

Govman where are you? maybe etcoach and answer this for you.

Congratulations wb for finally beating a decent team. Now wb has beat 2 AAA teams with anything close to a winning record, and should we really count sd. However, wb's coach should be coach of the year. They have won every game they could, and stole one from Farragut. Now govman you said wb has had their fair share of good teams. Please give me the years. I'm going to guess 6 teams out of 25.

The time has come for the WB-SD feud to end. Let's be honest, WB has a couple of good teams every say 15 years and SD has had about 1 good team since it wasn't called Doyle. When a championship is on the line, it can become more serious. A fourth place game in a bad league is just too much. The Maryville faithful also need to back off, the run is over when your seniors graduate. OK gov man I know your offended because everything offends you. So, just relax take a deep breath and please forgive me. By the way, I think both the coach at WB and SD are excellent coaches they get what they can out of their players.
