the coaches from the sunbelt have not sent me any info or stats, I will try to get them. i will post when i get them, if at all..they will be found at www.tbca.org

if the coach doesn't nominate players they won't have a chance to be selected...believe me I try to put together all-tbr teams for the past 3 years and you have to track down coaches, call them at home during the summer to find out about players,etc. so sometimes coaches are to blame, a few coaches will nominate 3 or 4 players from a good team like Columbia Academy and because the writers have no one to choose from they all get on the team. I would like to think that every team has one player who is worthy of an all midstate team, etc. I will start calling coaches next week to try and get names and stats of players because very few have nomintated. I want the teams to have the best players and it's hard when you have to track down coaches for names. When the season is over most of the coaches either forget or just do not get the forms mailed to the Tennesssean, my form is online, all they have to do is fill it out and it comes to my email...If anyone has names, positions, stats, etc of good players and their coaches home phone so I can verify...please send them to me or post it here!!!

The TN team defeated the OK Red team 9-8 with Ryan Wilkes (Chatt. Central) getting the win on the mound. MOre info on the tournament later this week at www.tbca.org
