it's hard to have a jv game on a weekend with 4 important games for the varsity. the jv players were needed to play during some of those games.

i'll admit that the aDjustments (notice the spelling) usn made did the job. their plan worked the way they wanted. simple fundamental mistakes were made by farragut, and due to that usn ran away with the win. they stepped it up, while we took a step down. they never gave up - props to that.

the usn longpoles were terrible. they couldn't handle the ball comfortably. they did adjust in half 2 to shut down farragut's attack. overall i thought that the only 2 above decent players on that team were 14 and 24, each who had their own share of luck.

so what's been happening to the mba goalie? all i hear is how good he is, and from what i can gather from these chats he's not up to his top level. what (if anything) happened to him? is there room for someone else at the top?

i agree. shutting off burns is key, but i still won't completely stop their offense. they cut all the time. i do think that the other to attack are good and can score, but not as well as burns. their middies can be shut off by a decent middie d.

i'm going for the grass. it just has a better feel to it. (and it doesn't kill my feet). then again it depends on the quality of the grass field, though most that i've played on (not mine) is fairly good.

bruin- you are in no postion to question the ref's calls. they make the calls for a reason, and if they believe them to be penalties, then you must deal with it. if you hits are so "legal" then how come you're getting "absolutely outrageous" penalties? also trying to recall past events of when a ref screws up doesn't provide a good example for your point when it is explained so vaguely. I also agree with penatrator about the cheapness of you team. bruin, you can't in one sentance say that you aren't cheap, and in the next admit yourself wrong. retalitory cheap shots are cheap and uncalled for whether provoked or unprovoked
