The one thing that i think will be different this year, is what MP will be able to do if Marco does get contained. Last year if Marco didn't have a good game MP got beat. This year i don't think it will be that way. I think MP is loaded with talent, they were last year too, just didn't quite have the experience. If, and i say IF you do contain Marco, Lewis Co still has there hands full!! Believe me!! I know this will be a good game, i do respect Lewis co football and know yall will have a good team! But to let you know, Marco has been called out before on here, and he tends to respond WELL!! You'll see!!

I don't know a lot about Lewis Co. I havent seen them play in the last few years. But im sure they play the same ole smash mouth football they have for years. What i can tell you is this will be a pretty evenly matched game! I remember when Lewis Co. used to just physically dominate MP the last 7 or eight times the played them in the past, and i can tell you that won't happen this time!! MP has a lot of talent other than Marco! Yes, he is a level or two above the others, but Lewis Co. will be suprised if they think all they have to do is shut Marco down, which will be hard to do! As for MP, Lewis Co will be very physical, much like Giles Co. last year! I know you hear a lot of smack talk, but i think most everyone knows this will be a tight game!! GO MP!!

Looking at MP, we all know about Marco but there is more to this team that many don't talk about! This team is stacked this year, MP was young last year and have gained a lot of experience! Also this is a very athletic team. The O Line will be stout, they are big and pretty athletic, could be the best in the past few years! The D Line will be a terror this year, good size, speed on the outside, and quick and strong in the middle!! Linebacking position i think will be the toughest to replace, but with the addition of JU JU, that will help, overall LBs will be solid! The secondary is very athletic, i think with the passing league and what MP saw in the playoffs last year, they will be greatly improved here!! The biggest thing i think MP has to improve on from last year is special teams, mainly on kickoffs, MP gave up field position way too much in my opinion last year! I thought we should have kicked it deep more often and depended on our defense to make stops in there territory more often, but i know Smith likes to take a gamble! It sure made it interesting at times!! Go MP!!

Ok, lets get this straight! Stop cying Cwood, we OWN YOU!!! And you know it!! Stop cying, we have Marco, yes he is great! You just wish you had him!! Yes, Coach Smith is a great coach, he can't help it he has such good talent!! Do you think hes going to complain. MP had good talent when he wasn't here, just didn't have the coach to coach talent and to change! Throw up all the stats, shoulda,coulda,ifs,and buts. And just admit that we OWN YOU, and until you beat us your still our little WHIPPING BOY!! One day you all will beat us. But until then take it like a man!!

After reading the article in the Jackson Sun, the Rayner kid seems to be pretty impressive, both offensivly and defensivly. I think a diverse player like him will make JCS very tough to defend. You have to know where he is on the field! I think this could be a shoot out!!

I know Skogen is a deserving candidate. But Marco Dailey has been absolutely amazing this year and especially in the playoffs. For those saying MP doesn't play anybody and thats the reason Marco has the numbers he has, you may want to take a better look at that! I mean 290 against JB, at the time the #1 team in the state!! The kid is a gamer!!! I know people have talked about Skogen and records and stuff, but Dailey may break a few more state records this year, and most likely will break more next year barring no injuries!! Good luck to Marco!!!

This will be another tough one for MP!! I think MP must contain JCS offense, which seems to be a lot like JB! I think JCS will try to do just the same as every other team MP has played, which is contain Dailey! This game will probably be a tougher game in which we have to go on the road, and it will be a rowdy environment!! But you know "THE JUNGLE" is rolling in and look to be pretty rowdy ourselves. Go Tigers!!

I can't wait to see this game!! MP must bring the same intensity to this game just as they did against JB!! MP must make some plays in the passing game, and need big defensive plays on the QB just like the JB game!! All of the "one man show" talk doesn't mean anything! You can bet that both teams are going to suit it up and lay it all on the line!! Go MP!! As for JC, what type of team are they? Pass team, run team, or pretty balanced? I haven't really heard. Physically what are they like? Just wondering.

What are some of JB's individual season stats? I haven't heard or been able to find any.

How can anyone really say either of these teams Defenses aren't good. I mean you have to have a pretty good defense to make it this far. MP has a good defense, maybe not as dominate as the last 2 years, but is very solid. And i am sure that JB has a very good defense also. Even if this game is high scoring i don't think it's that both teams defense isn't good, i just think both have extremly good offenses. This is my look on the game!! I think it will be very interesting to see what type of scheme MP has on Offense and Defense!! Will they load up and come after the QB, or will they only rush 4 or 5 and sit in coverage? On offense, what suprises will Coach Smith have, you know what Marco can do? And the biggest element of the game will be Turnovers, whoever wins this aspect is who i think will win!! Hopefully it will be the Tigers!! Go MP!!

As for the game. I think both of these teams are equally matched physically, but are very different scheme wise. JB seems to be very diverse offensivly, which will be a very tough matchup for MP! As for MP, i think JB knows what to look for with MP offensivly! JB will look to contain Marco, trying to keep him under 200 and out of the endzone(2 or less). I think it is crucial for MP to get something going in the passing game this week. I know CW moved the ball fairly well, but i think JB's defense is better than that though!! I know last year Marco ran the ball at will the first half, but the second half JB made some adjustments and contained him much better. I know Marco was hurt but they did make good adjustments. I just think its crucial that we at least make them respect our passing game, cause it can be good!! Im not saying we shouldn't run the ball, cause that would be stupid, but when you get this far it will be more difficult to run the ball 90% of the time. But Coach Smith does a good job with adjustments and i have a lot of confidence in this coaching staff and I'm sure they will have them ready to go Friday Night!! Go TIGERS!!

Congrats to the finalist!! All three are very deserving!!! I know everyone has there reason why they think each one should win. As for me, i have only seen Marco Dailey play of the three and all i can say is he is simply an Amazing athlete!! Most people look at him on the field and say"man he looks small". But to me he has the perfect build, 5'9 180lbs. and cut!! He has put up huge numbers obviously, but the way in which he has put up those numbers is CRAZY. He is one of those players that everytime he starts to take off with it, you hold your breath!!! I know others who have seen the other candidates have similar opinions but all i know is Marco is one heck of a football player and just as much a great, humble young man!!

Congrats to Marco!! And Congrats to the whole Team! Marco would be the first to tell anyone that he couldn't have this much success this season without his teamates!! Being a Finalist says a lot of Marco and just as much to the rest of the team. Well done!! Now to the game, I think WC will try to throw a little wrinkle in there offense and maybe try to spread MP out on defense or possible throw a little more. As for MP who knows, you know your going to get some Marco, but i look to see Stoops and Clifton doing a lot of damage as WC keys on Marco!! The big key is turnovers, if MP doesn't turn it over i think MP will be ok, if they do it could get very interesting!! Go Tigers!!

MP had better play better in this game than last game. First off, MP must cut down penalties and turnovers. That is the big key. In the playoffs, those are big issues cause teams seem to take advantage of turnovers more often in the playoffs. You can almost bet Wayne Co. will play a tougher game than last, having a lot of confidence coming off an impressive win against Cascade. But i know MP has not played their best game this year and it's time to break it loose starting this week!! Go MP!!

I see this being a really tough game for MP!! I know every team puts together some type of scheme to contain Marco. And last game with Wayne Co. it did not work. You can almost bet they will have a better scheme and will make it tougher for Marco this time around. That being said, MP has to find other ways to move the ball consistently. The further MP gets the tougher for Marco. Although he seems to always step up and do some amazing things!! I think the one thing MP is not doing as well this year is in Special teams play, in the past MP has had blocked punts, great returns, fake punts,ect. This year we haven't seen this as much. MP must play solid, mistake free football in this game cause it won't be the same Wayne Co. team this time around!! Go Tigers!!
