  1. Tyler Smith has a great supporting cast and really doesn't have to be the focal point for Giles to win. If they are going to win tonight they need to hit FREETHROWS!!!!!!! I'M OUT
  2. Tigerball you are mistaken. Smith got his 4th on the technical and his fifth on the over the back call under the south goal. He did foul out....and besides if he didn't do you think GC coach would have kept the #2 junior out of the game with it so close. Get a clue. I'M OUT
  3. ncsdavidrulesramalambadingdong....whatever in the heck your username is... the McEwen thing on this thread is OVER! Let it go. Anger is a gift only to those who use it for good. NCS03, myself, and MHScheer are trying to Quantum Leap this thing (you know putting right what once went wrong) buy some igrnorant folk have to stir it back up again. Root for your team, keep and eye on the court, and your mouth closed. I'M OUT
  4. Submit your choice for coach of the year in district 10A. There is a bunch of talent in this region, so make a good case. I'M OUT
  5. LeBron James style???? How in the world could you compare that dunk, which was a decent one hand jam coming from left to right across the lane, to a 45" vertical jam that LeBron pulls off. I'm with the rest of these guys, and I root for McEwen, if all you have to talk about tomorrow is 5 dunks then your team will be eating popcorn in the stands at the Murphy Center. NCS is a great shooting team and Houston County is nowhere their caliber. The later of those two teams almost pulled off an upset last night until they wore down late. NCS is hungry and well coached...we'll see if your dunks match up with the three. OH! By the way Ricco Ralston of Waverly had 5 dunks against Camden and he is all of 6". I'M OUT
  6. Got a question for you crimsontide. Is it not good enough for you to know that 10A is no longer in the region (ex. for NCS), but you half to go and post it to rub peoples face in it? Everyone that had half a brain and two good eyes knew that 9A was a much stronger district top to bottom that 10A. Congrats to 9A and especially the CPA Lions, great team with a shot to do something later in MARCH. I'M OUT
  7. Giles by 20 Waverly by 6 I'M OUT
  8. I agree NCS03 you sound like you know what you are talking about. District is like an estranged family...you may not like your relatives all that much but you definatly don't want to see anything bad happen to them.....like lose in the Region to another district. I'M OUT Hey NCS03....you gonna be at any of the Region games?
  9. I was there and watched in person the athleticism that Smith displayed. His mental game needs to come around a bit....aka charges etc., but he is a hellava player. Dansby showed up and played his rear off. For the first time all season, I really thought Shane gave it all. Kudos to both players for an extremely hard fought contest. I thought that Harpeth had a good scheme at slowing down GC's pace and that lead to the low scoring. Also, Harpeth hit several more three's that GC did and the Goodwin kid kept them in it until the end. Guys, lets face it Tyler Smith is a big prospect...one that only comes along in a while. He does not have to have a big stat line in order to win ball games because he has at least 2 if not three other D1 prospects on his team. With talent like that there is no need for him to take over unless someone is having a bad night. Dansby on the other hand has limited young help and needs to have a big night, mostly, for Harpeth to have a chance. Great post guys...keep them coming. I'M OUT
  10. David is the better of the two in my opinion. Jarrett is coming off an injury and was definately more of a threat a year ago, but David looks to be smoother and in way more control of his emotions and game. Yeah, MHScheer he's right, they are not related. I'M OUT
  11. When...tonight or tomorrow? Tonight I plan on going to the Harpeth Giles County game. NCS should bust Ezell. Will be at the McEwen FRA contest tomorrow thought. I'M OUT
  12. Stopfrontin?? What do you mean? I simply made an educated post that dealt with the topic at hand. Is there a problem with this? I'M OUT
  13. Agreed. If Puckett put up 36, Smith should have oh at least 75. Keep it real NCS03. Hey who do you guys play first round of the Region? I'M OUT
  14. Great game tonight at Montgomery Central 5:30. Giles County at Harpeth. Who wins and by how much. My pred. Giles County by 20. I'M OUT
  15. Hey NCS03 and hsfootballfan10, I am a McEwen supporter and happen to live in the town. I did not go to school there however have a few ties to MHS. The redneck comment could be viewed as a term that would upset those in McEwen the same way as the "sign" upset you guys. I will go on record as saying that the "sign" was rude, offensive, and totally uncalled for. I will congratulate NCS on a good win and a great student section, few teams would turn out the way they did. They also handled themselves with class. I felt that McEwens fans acted well, too. This "sign" has been dealt with harshly with suspensions and severe reprimands. No need to keep milking the ignorance of one person that definatly does not speak for McEwen as a whole. Maybe getting the person responsible for the sign's email and posting on there would be more appropriate. You know, hopefully, that one person does not speak for hundereds, right. Well this is the case. Please let it die. As for Cam himself, he is a moderate player that has defensive skill and made a huge shot. This is what we should be posting about. His clutch layup. Nice job Cam if you are reading. NCS is a nice place minus about 3 individuals that will remain nameless. I sat on NCS's side and heard only a few heated comments from fans, but that goes along with the game. As both teams come from district 10A we as fans should pull for each other until we meet as oppostion. Then the battle can ensue and after this we can talk basketball not junk. Hopefully, this can happen because the people that I know at McEwen have a good opinion of Cam and the rest of the team as basketball players and as kids. Please don't tarnish that with some juvenille comments that only fuel a fire that is trying to burn itself out. NCS is a decent team, and McEwen is as well; however both would more that likely get it handed to them by the higher grade teams in A. Also, let's face it, these kids are not going to the NBA, and maybe only 1 or 2 will play after high school. Let's accept these games for what they are...high school rivalries and hopefully that is all. I'M OUT
