  1. By saying that I "coulnd't care less" I meant that my care for them could not be any lower. And just because I go to Brentwood Academy, it does not mean that I have money, I happen to be on financial aid because it is too expensive for both of my working parents to pay for it, and I do not start for any sports team so do not even go into the argument that BA pays their students.
  2. I couldn't care less about all of the "Crazies" nobody compares to the Mustache Mafia from Brentwood Academy, plus our team backs up all of our cheers unlike all of the other schools.
  3. With FHS being 20-0, and Brentwood Academy being one of the best teams, if not the best team, in the state, who would win in a head-to-head matchup?
  4. In my opinion, B.A. Always might need to change his name. From what I can see, all that he has posted about is Bowker shouldn't be playing. One thing that probably nobody knows is that Coach Flatt and the QB coach Johnson made Bowker change his grip on the ball on Wednesday, so his passing was a little shaky, but he has been staying after practice to work on it, and he worked on it over the weekend. So personally, B.A. Always, needs to support BA. I know that many of the players to dont agree with the coaches, but they still support their decisions with all their heart b/c they are sick of losing. If you say you are a BA fan, show it.
  5. Knowing Coach Flatt, Barry Turner will probably play TE, then whenever he moves to reciever, that means that BA will throw to him. BA does not play the same finesse type football that MBA or other schools play. BA plays with their hats, not their heads if you understood that. They don't run trick plays, they just get it done old fashioned way.
  6. Keeping it going with the kickers, from what I have noticed, D. Varn seems to be much more consistent with the place kicking. He can constantly hit the 35 yarder, and he did hit the 52 yarder after practice once last year. Not to be mean or anything, but Baker, in my opinion, seems a little too young to play at a high school level. When I say that I mean that he might not be mature enough to play. If he does botch a kick, he will whine and complain about it which effects every other kick. So my money is on Varn for all of the place kicking, while Baker handles the punting, if Butler doesn't surprise everyone. Phil Masters doesn't seem to be a player at all this year, but next season is a different story. On another note, Barry Turner has been practicing and running routes with the recievers, but he will be playing both reciever and tight end with Brian Ralls moving to full-time tackle. Another person that doesn't seem to be mentioned at Wide Reciever is Kofi Semenya. Coach Flatt seems very interested in him at receiver and should get a considerable amount of playing time.
  7. Recently, Brentwood Academy's strength and conditioning, and defensive ends coach, Scott Perkinson, was offered the job at the new Ensworth high school. With Ensworth having offered him nearly twice as much as what he was getting paid at BA, he decided to take it. He is a great coach and just a nice guy. Ensworth is very lucky to have a guy like Coach Perkinson leading the way in the weightroom. Good Luck from everyone at Brentwood Academy.
