I don't know what the rumor is, but noone has been fired. D, you and your mother are not always right! The coach has resigned. Not sure of all the reasons behind it. I have no word on the future coach yet. It seems like it would be hard to find someone to fill that posistion.

From what I saw, it looked like the players were the ones giving up. Why would any high school coach just be there to get paid? If you knew what they made, you would realize they aren't in it for the money. Ask your coach one day, maybe he will give you the sad truth of the coaching supplement. As for SD, they are one of the premier teams in the area. They are loaded with talent, that is young. They will be tough for several more years.

That is sad to know. I know football has all kinds of support there. It seems at least the AD could support the program. Cannon is a good baseball coach and I hear they are doing well at state. How long has the current coach been there? And if he is as bad as you say, what does it take to get a quality coach to come to a questionable program?

What is the biggest factor in their program having such a quick turnover in coaching? Haven't there been several different coaches in the past 8 years or so?

The sorry bull your seeing on here is not coming from the players, but two people who didn't make the team and all they have to say is negative comments about the team and the coaches. Plus your comment is no different from anything else on here.

What's wrong schsbears can't handle the truth, you are the last person that needs to get on here and talk about being muture. You have alot of growing up to do. Your mad at the coach because he didn't pick you well get over it. From what I have seen Coach W is doing a great job, you don't have to win ball games to be a good coach. This team has alot of talent, including the coaches. So get over it kid do you really think if it had been another coach you would have made the team? Good Luck Coach W and the BEARS!!

Maybe the coach would let etsubound1st and schsbears, be part of the team since that is the problem. Don't the bears need a ball boy and water boy?

I believe your right Coach Williams will be looking for good talent. He is a great coach and has been for a long time. I use to run for him back in the day.

I agree i think kids need structure and support. I also think they need a coach that cares not only about the sport they coach, but their players academic success. Some coaches forget there is life after high school sports.

Sorry were all not as perfect as you. I suppose I should have said it looks like you're mad and not sounds like you're mad. Futher more I'm not the one that looks like a fool. You do with your childish post and me me attitude. You think you're so perfect but it looks like this coach had a good reason to cut you. Oh and by the way I don't play baseball i'm not even part of the SCHS baseball team. I am just some one putting my opinion here. Seems like you can't take all your negative attitude coming back to you. Maybe you should stick to babe ruth leaque i'm sure they could use a good pitcher.

sounds like you're angry with this coach and how do you know if you will hear a "good job" or "way to go" if your going to be in the stands with circus music. sounds like your jealous because you want to be part of the circus and wasn't picked.

If this player was the best to ever step on the field why would he not want to pitch? I believe in the game of baseball you have 9 players on the field not just 1 person and in baseball to be the best you have to be a team not a I player because their always the worst players.
